My hometown Cincinnati Reds are celebrating 150 years! This year's version of the Reds will be wearing commemorative patches on the ballcaps and sleeves. Included are 2019 home/away/bp jerseys (with Frank Robinson memorial patch added to home and away), last year's camo alternate, and a bonus Jackie Robinson Day set featuring "42" on each player. The Reds will also be wearing 11(!!!!) different throwbacks this year, so stay tuned for another upcoming release.

These are the "official unofficial" All-Star game jerseys depicted in MLB The Show 18. Also included is an updated TV "wipe" logo. Managers are wearing the jackets of the World Series teams they managed in 2017. As a bonus, these are also set up to be selected for the NL and AL Greats teams as well.
 
*There is a slight issue on the left inside seam of the jerseys, where the panels don't quite match up. It will be fixed in a later release/update.

The Homestead Grays was one of the most successful of the professional Negro League baseball teams.  They won ten Negro National League Titles (1937-1945, 1948) and three Negro League World Series Titles (1943-1944, 1948), where they played the champion of the Negro American League.  The team was based in Homestead, Pennsylvania, but played their home games at both Forbes Field in Pittsburgh and at Griffith Stadium in Washington, D.C. The Pirates wore this uniform during Negro Leagues Tribute game in 2017 as well as several times in previous seasons.

The Leland Giants, originally the Chicago Union Giants, were a Negro league baseball team that competed independently during the first decade of the 20th century. The team was formed via a merge of the Chicago Unions and the Chicago Columbia Giants in 1901, and then split in 1910 to form the Chicago Giants and what would become known as the Chicago American Giants. The team was named after its owner and manager, Frank Leland.
The Cubs wore a gray version of this uniform during a Negro Leagues Tribute game in 2017.

The Brooklyn Royal Giants were founded in 1905 by John Connor, and played their best baseball in the pre-organized Negro League days. In 1923 they were a charter member of the Eastern Colored League, eventually returning to independent play in 1928 until they disbanded in 1942. Popular players included Hall of Famers Smokey Joe Williams and John Henry "Pop" Lloyd.
The New York Mets wore these threads in multiple Negro League Tribute games in 2014 and 2015. Not quite accurate to the actual fit and design of uniforms in the heyday of the Negro Leagues, this set is a clean modern twist on an old classic that was quite popular with fans and amateur historians alike.

In 2014, the Reds unveiled a 4th alternate, the "Military Appreciation" camo uniform. They wear this jersey only a couple times a year, on "military appreciation" days hosted at GABP. The second uniform in this pack, a Red alternate with the Reds logo and number font in Marpat camouflage is the official uniform announced for Memorial Day 2015 and available for sale on MLB.com. Included are uniforms, new fonts, and select screens.

May 11, 2015 was the first home game for the Baltimore Orioles after an extended road trip, and the first game after the infamous "empty stadium" game against the White Sox last month. To celebrate and honor the citizens and fans of Baltimore, the Orioles opted to wear special jerseys adorned with "Baltimore" instead of the usual "Orioles."

This is something I've never tried before and I decided to give it a shot. I tried my best to create and ESPN-style overlay for whatever mod you are playing. There are still some issues, such as font size/style, stretched logos, and inconsistent styles (batting order, defensive lineup, etc.) If you can get past those, it is a pretty nice overlay to play with. Eventually I plan on updating this, please give me any feedback on what I can do to make this better.

Included are several of the uniforms that every team wore on Memorial Day. Some say they are ugly, I think so too personally, but I wanted to make them anyway. I plan on doing all 30 teams, these are about about half of them. I did not make the camo fonts, however, the uniforms just use normal names and numbers.

I do know that 100% proceeds of jersey and cap sales go to Welcome Back Veterans. I own a camo Reds hat, and I have to admit it doesn't look "that" terrible.

ABOUT THE UNIFORM

The Padres unveiled all new uniforms across the board in the offseason. The Padres based the home and away designs off of historical uniforms from the former Pacific Coast League team by the same name. The digital camoflauge pattern on the alternate is based on the same pattern that the United States Marines wear. Many see it as nice upgrade from the previous green military themed uniforms San Diego wore in previous years, as it looks closer to modern and current military styles.

ABOUT HEROES OF THE DIAMOND:

Baseball has had a place in the US Military all the way back to the Civil War, when players from both sides would play to pass the time. Giants star Christy Mathewson was among the first big leaguers to enlist and serve during World War I. During the World War I era, the first organized teams began to appear, and by World War II, major league stars in their prime including Joe Dimaggio, Ted Williams, and Hank Greenberg put their careers on hold to enlist. In fact, as a result of his military service, Greenberg only played 9 full seasons in the majors, and Ted Williams could possibly have hit 700 home runs if not for 5 years of service. After World War II, all of the branches of the Military cut down their firepower, and baseball in the Armed Forces returned to amateur level. During the Vietnam era, men such at Garry Maddox and Jim Bibby served overseas before their careers took off. The trend seemed to almost disappear, as very few players in recent history served. The most notable is Iraq veteran and former Marine Cooper Brannan who recieved a minor league contract with the San Diego Padres in 2006. Thank you for checking out my 1938 Phillies uniform for MVP Baseball 2005. Included is a uniform set, numbers and a uniform select image. This uniform will be available under the Philadelphia Phillies alternate ("029n") slot. If you want the uniforms in another slot instead, just unzip the files and rename the .fsh images to whatever slot you like.

ABOUT THE UNIFORM

The 1938 Phillies moved from the crumbling Baker Bowl to Shibe Park. For reasons still unknown today, the Phillies wore blue and gold uniforms for the 1938 season only, as they swtiched back to the traditional red and navy blue colors in 1939. On the field, the Phillies finished dead last with a record of 45-105.

INSTALLATION

-You will need kraw's Total Installer Thingy (TiT), which you can get here (you may have to register first):

-The rest is self explanatory, just install the .RAR file named "INSTALL ME" using TiT, and you are done!

-As usual, remember to back up your files before installing!
