I tracked milkman down and asked, he gave us permission to use his stuff.

As part of the MVP 12 project, we are updating the uniforms and logos for the 2012 season.

Pensacola Blue Wahoos. New AA affiliate of the Reds. The Carolina Mudcats shifted to Cleveland as single-A team, and the Blue Wahoos replace the Kinston Indians. Numbers are generic block because no good images of the number font is available yet. More minor league sets to come.

bctrackboi11 replied to Yankee4Life's topic in Total Conversion Mods
Sweet, I am still working on breaking each team's slots down and choosing uniforms that best fit each slot, should have a list up in the next couple of days. -
On MLBmods, there was a public document on Google Docs that everyone could access and update.

Here is a shot of the "Los Mets" jersey created last year and popular among the fans. This uniform became the inspiration for one of the Mets new uniform changes for the 2012 season. More uniforms to come soon.

The reason I am asking is because I am putting together a video to play at the beginning and want it to end with one of these types of images, but I'd like to add in different effects with Adobe Premiere. It would be easier if I had a .psd of some sort to work with, send me a PM if you could help.

These are great! I've never done anything with loading screens, but I can try to test it out. Do you have a template you are using?

2012 Minor League Affiliates (For Roster Makers)
bctrackboi11 replied to bctrackboi11's topic in MVP Baseball 2005
Well, rosters change so often, I can see why roster makers only want to do the 40-man rosters and then just make sure all the important prospects are linked. I'll get started on some uniforms today or tomorrow -
2012 Minor League Affiliates (For Roster Makers)
bctrackboi11 replied to bctrackboi11's topic in MVP Baseball 2005
These are are the current teams as of right now, I'll have the NL up in a few minutes. I don't mind taking the lead on the minors since nobody else is. Dennisjames even made some minor league parks that I could edit to make more generic. I don't mind taking on the few uniforms that need to be made either, just somebody has to make sure that the teams are correct in the rosters and LOC files. -
For those of you guys making rosters, some teams switched affiliates, changed names, or moved completely. Here is an updated list of each team and their affiliates. We just need to change the names in the LOC files and possible come up with new uniforms and logos. First up is the American League. American League Baltimore AAA- Norfolk Tides AA- Bowie Baysox A- Frederick Keys Boston AAA- Pawtucket Red Sox AA- Portland Sea Dogs A- Salem Red Sox New York AAA-Empire State Yankees AA- Trenton Thunder A- Tampa Yankees Tampa Bay AAA-Durham Bulls AA-Montgomery Biscuits A-Charlotte Stone Crabs Toronto AAA-Las Vegas 51's AA-New Hampshire Fisher Cats A- Dunedin Blue Jays Chicago AAA- Charlotte Knights AA- Birmingham Barons A- Winston-Salem Dash Cleveland AAA-Columbus Clippers AA- Akron Aeros A- Carolina Mudcats Detroit AAA- Toledo Mudhens AA- Erie Seawolves A- Lakeland Flying Tigers Kansas City AAA- Omaha Storm Chasers AA- Northwest Arkansas Naturals A- Wilmington Blue Rocks Minnesota AAA- Rochester Red Wings AA- New Britain Rock Cats A- Fort Myers Miracle Los Angeles Anaheim AAA- Salt Lake Bees AA- Arkansas Travelers A- Inland Empire 66ers Oakland AAA- Sacramento River Cats AA- Midland Rockhounds A- Stockton Ports Seattle AAA- Tacoma Rainiers AA- Jackson Generals A- High Desert Mavericks Texas AAA-Round Rock Express AA- Frisco Roughriders A- Myrtle Beach Pelicans

Well, myself an a few others are busy compiling the new headshots on MLB pressbox that were just posted in the last couple of days, so many of the portraits can be redone. On pressbox, even the non-roster invitees are on there so some minor leaguers could be included. It would make sense to split them up by team or even division.
-
Also, one more thing to keep in mind for the ones working on the rosters is the changes in minor league affiliates. For example the Reds changed their affiliates for the 3rd time in 3 years, their single A is now Bakersfield, and their Double A (Carolina Mudcats) is now Pensacola. I'll try to get a list together of the changes for everyone.
-
So I'm trying to get some work done on these portraits, but without an accurate ID list, should I just name each file for the player it is? Chapman, Phillips, Leake, etc.?
-
Also, when we get some "working" files together and I can get some in-game footage, I will gladly put together the opening movie for MVP 2012. I know Adobe Premiere video editing software and think I can put together something decent. Here is what I made for the TC 1915 mod that dennisjames put together. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqzExmJ2QpI&feature=plcp&context=C4b7fee7VDvjVQa1PpcFOgt7lzCrG-9jkwfHOuxlP8LO2wxfUSwWI=

Would you mind sending an invite my way? I could drop my uniform work in there. I also have full access to MLB pressbox if that helps any.

Thanks for posting these!

If we can go that route (of an add-on to 08), then you could count me in. Frankly my Navy duties won't allow me much time to help create a full scale mod, but I can contribute some things here and there, especially on the uniforms side of things.
