  1. Just an update on where this project is at right now. I am about 2/3 finished with these rosters and am still plugging away at them. To date, I have put in well over 200 hours editing on these rosters and have at least another hundred to go before they are 100% complete. I know that Wunderbreadz has many many hours invested into this roster as well but since he has been MIA I will move on without him for now. I hope all is well with him and that he can return to help finish this great roster soon. I have built the minor leagues with Franchise mode in mind and once finished; I plan on playing a franchise many many seasons into the future and probably wont release another roster update again this year. I am 110% dedicated to getting in every single detail possible. Wunderbreadz started inserting the 2012 player stats so records and stats will be in the books for accurate record keeping purposes but he only finished a few teams before I started on the minor leagues. If he doesn't return to help out, I will be forced to finish this mammoth task myself(or if someone with a guru licence of reditor wants to help out I would be very thankful ); I am a huge stat freak so this is very important to me if I'm playing a franchise. Another big focus on this years roster has been on the minor leagues. Every minor league player has been edited to look and act as close to that player as possible. They have attributes and tendencies directly related their stats and scouting reports. Every single organizations Top 20 prospects are also included in this roster; with accurate physical attributes, pitch selections, and ratings for each!!! I am not going to set a date for release due to unknown circumstances that may prevent me from editing in the near future. I do have a full time job to maintain as well as this little passion project . I am as excited as anyone to get this finished so I can start playing again. There have been some amazing mods released this year and I can't wait to dig in. Once I finally start playing again it will look and feel like a whole new game(better than what 2k actually put out, by miles). One thing is for sure...thanks to this very dedicated community and hours of hard work...by ALL Star break I will be playing one of the most realistic baseball sims of my life.
  2. Thank you for the heads up on this!!! I was weary at first but I installed it and can confirm it works. No more beyondo or changing the system date to play. Not sure the patch addresses any other in game issues but I would be very doubtful.
  3. I very excited about this mod. Great job! When I finally get done with the roster I am working on and can actually start a franchise... it will feel like a totally new game. Way better than what 2K actually released this year So a huge thanks to all who are help make this game sooo much better.

  5. Is it possible to release an ESPN one of these? I use the ESPN package that was uploaded on here a while back and it would go perfectly with that. Either way great work. I can't wait till i release my roster so I can finally play some.
  6. Thank you. Your services would be very much appreciated. Having someone with your skills will continue to make this game even better. Have you come across the .dds file for Mock necks? I would love to see some one be able to modify the texture of the mock neck and the turtle necks options. They currently look terrible. It would be really cool if someone could get the nike logo on the mock neck option as well. Just some ideas. Thanks again and I look forward to your work.

  8. Just to confirm, the rumors are true that I am collaborating with WundaBreadz on this project. Here is an update on where the project is currently at. I have just finished a total of 6 organizations from top to bottom much like I did last year with my NoFakeNames rosters. I will be going division by division until all organizations are complete. I have tested these rosters with the 2013 schedule and have not found one glitch, crash, or problem minus the one small standings glitch where it only shows the top 4 teams in the AL West standings. That doesn't mean that the 5th place team isn't there; it just wont show their record from the standings screen. This is a very very small problem and has absolutely no impact on anything related to stat keeping or game play. These rosters will be 100% franchise ready. I turned over the most recent version of the roster to WundaBreadz about an hour ago. It will be his call if he wants to release it as a beta or wait for one final release. It did have up to date 25 man rosters with all transactions, batting orders, and pitching rotations as of 4/16 so he may. In turn it does currently lack in updated cyber faces and other final touches such as gear, and batting stances.

  11. I remember Vlad saying in an earlier post he was going to release an editor for MLB2k12 when he got done with school. But he also said that it wouldn't be out till July or August and now that both have passed I'm afraid he has likely started school up again. I'm not sure he knows how much of an interest there is for an in depth editor for this game. I think a schedule editor and a skin tone fix for darker players would make this game relevant for a very very long time.

    This is Darth Skinett's work and I am just passing it along since I see many people are still wanting a good ENB series mod. This is hands down the most realistic yet eye catching HDTV style color you will find for MLB2k12. This not only brightens colors significantly without over saturation but it also helps significantly with the grey tone 2K used instead of a true black. Also reflections and other textures take to light far more realistically with this mod. I have recently installed the new FXAA tool released and then re-installed this enb mod on top of that mod and my jaw about hit the floor. UNBELIEVABLE GRAPHICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This with all of the new stadium mods and others great mods takes this game to a whole new level! So here is a step by step guide for installation and once finished you just may have the best looking baseball game you have ever seen. Be sure to back everything up in case your PC can't handle this mod or you don't like it. 1st: Install the FXAA mod by MissionMaximus 2nd: Download this mod and extract the files directly into your main "Major League Baseball 2k12" folder. 3rd: Start game and run a benchmark to see if your PC can handle the souped up graphics. 4th: If it benchmarks well and you are happy play a game and watch as the shadows look crisp and the anti aliasing looks perfect. The colors will now pop off the screen and you will see for yourself what I am talking about.

  14. Just a heads up to everyone I just released a new version of my roster where i fixed many missed transactions throughout the minors. Still left the ratings the same so those of you that disagree with those can change them yourselves. I updated bating orders and pitching rotations as well for 8/23/12. Also fixed Manny Machado from "Muchado". Thanks to everyone that helped me find small things here and there. Now this roster should be very very accurate and very franchise ready.
  15. The Betancourt one I missed so thanks for the heads up and if anyone notices others please let me know. There probably are a couple other players that were released and are still somewhere in the minors. For some reason some releases are never mentioned on any of the websites I use like mlbdepthcharts.com and mlbtraderumors.com for up to date transactions. So those missed players I have just had to catch on my own and with the 25 man rosters quickly approaching I didn't spend as much time organizing the minor leagues as I have in the past. So I'm sure there is still a couple out there but out of 2250 players I looked at I'd say 2 or 3 missed releases isn't bad. Also to comment on ratings I used 2k's most recent ratings and to thier defense they have updated every single player at the MLB level fairly extensively throughout the season so unless they are just coming up with this stuff out of thin air I will trust they are using some kind of system when giving player ratings.
  16. The roster is still coming. Only 4 teams left to update ratings on and I may be able to finish those tonight. The pitchers rating update for every team is taking much longer then originaly anticipated. But I am cutting no corners so it will be worth it in the end. Thanks for the patience everyone. We will have a very very accurate and up to date roster to finish the season and playoffs with soon.
  17. Sorry about the delay everyone. I have been sick for about 4 days straight and couldn't get to any editing but I am back at it now so it should be out by the end of the weekend. This is a massive update as well since I am matching every player rating to that of the most recent 2k Rosters.
  18. The transactions are the easy part. I had those completed within hours of the trade deadline closing. It's the massive overhaul to the ratings that are taking quite some time. 2K has done an extensive ratings update since my last release. At first I wasn't going to do this but since the ratings are very accurate and they implemented an adjustment for players and pitchers that will make it harder for a right handed batter to hit a right handed pitcher and vice-versa(much more like real life). 2k had this backwards until recently making it easier to hit a pitcher of the same hand rather then the opposite. I do finally have a good method down for updating ratings but it is very time consuming when you're editing approx. 1000 players....so as usual I'm asking for some patience on this. I will be spending my entire weekend editing and I will let you know how far I get and hopefully it will be out early next week.

  22. In previous years of 2K it has been a problem so this year I have just avoided it and have yet to even test it. Plus with Ty's editor only being partially complete(meaning not fully compatible with 2k12) I have mostly avoided using his editor unless 100% necessary for things like portrait Id's and cyberface #'s.
  23. For the most part I used all cyber-faces released through 7/8/12...except for most of ScottyBilly's cyber faces. This due to the fact that many people seem have complaints about his faces. Though I myself use some in my franchise here and there but do test them out because some skin textures are far from perfect and look glitchy in game. So I just left them out giving people the choice of whether they want to use his or not. Many of the faces in this roster don't require you to download any cyberface at all since I simply replaced some of the generic faces with real player faces that closely matched. I would also suggest just doing it team by team as you play your season or franchise..this makes it far less overwhelming.
  24. Id be careful trying to create any players using Ty's editor. I know that the in game create-a-player slots are 100% full on my rosters so I would be cautious creating any additional players using Ty's editor...it may cause a crash or glitch later in your franchise or game. Just a suggestion.
  25. I will definitely look into this. I will probably have to change Davish and Smily to players that are currently in Free Agency since I have used up all of the create-a-player slots on this roster. However I'm still holding on to hope that 2K will actually release a patch for the PC...and that glitch will hopefully be one of the things fixed. If not I will just turn a couple old Retired players in FA into them by changing their attributes, ratings, and tendencies; and then change their portraits and face ID's to match what they are now...and wallah! Problem solved. If you play with the Rangers or Tigers regularly I would suggest doing this yourself in the meantime since I'm not planning on releasing another roster update for a while since this last one was so complete and accurate.
