Not exactly true. DomoeYusa has figured it out and posted a video here. If anyone can translate the language in the tool he uses in his post here believe anyone could edit the music.

I think you may be taking about the crash talked about in this thread here which is unrelated to any roster. You just have to reboot your computer and the game will work fine again. I believe this has something to do with 2K and no modded files or rosters.
-
I have tested these rosters extensively and have yet to see one single crash in any game mode with any team???? What team are you using and when is it occurring? Are you sure it's not something else you have modded?

I hope everyone enjoys the most recent update. Thanks again to anyone that helped with suggestions and tips. Let me know if there is anything I missed.

:shok: Coming VERY Soon!!!! I am nearly insane from the amount of work that I have put into this over the past 2 months...However this roster will finally be released at the very latest on Sunday. It has been a very very long wait and I appreciate how patient everyone has been with this process. This has been one of the craziest projects I have ever under taken. It feels a lot like climbing a huge mountain...Just when you think you are nearing the peak you realize that it is just another hill and you still have miles to go before you can even see the top :bad:

That's exactly what it is. It also includes a globall.iff ...i'm not sure what changes were made to it though

I am currently working on a massive update that will have ALL AAA and AA players plus many many more low level prospects. This next release should be more then anyone could ever ask for since I am aiming to make my "NoFakeNames" roster actually live up to it's name! This means I am going team by team and making each team have NO fake players in any level and no fake players in F.A. either. THAT MEANS I AM EDITING SOMEWHERE CLOSE TO 2500 REAL PLAYERS!!! So...Like others have pointed out this is a very time consuming thing and even more patience will be needed with this one. I have about 7 organizations completed right now and am trying to do a team a day (sometimes more sometimes less based on how much time i can put into it). Also I will be doing a complete rating update once I have made sure all players are correct and on the correct team or organization. Any injured player will be placed in the level below their current assignment like i have done in the past. So this means while AAA and AA might not have all 25 men on its "in-game" roster they will be in that organization(usually just one level below to make room for injured players who are on the DL). Once i have added in all AA players I use each teams top 20 prospect list and fill in any lower level prospects placing them in single A. At that point if there are still fake players I'll hand pick a few notable single A players to finish off the roster. This will make every organization from top to bottom all real players! This update will give MLB, AAA, and AA exactly 25 man on each roster. For single A I used anywhere from 22-24 players leaving room for any future acquisitions. Back to work on the rosters I go...

jstor42 thanks for your help on these. I will add them into my next update.

At this point I only have added in AAA and BA's Top 100 Prospects. Some AA players that were on the spring training 40 man roster or ones I happened to get lucky and see get assigned also got added in. I plan on adding all AA in the next update....as far as single A goes there isn't enough room in the rosters once you count all of the injured players from AA,AAA, and MLB to create a full single A roster so those I will be leaving alone for the most part unless they are a top prospect. Plus you can't even play a game in single A either. Thanks again DonkeyJote..they will be there in my next update.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the donation link is finally up. So anyone that wanted to donate can now do so through Paypal. I appreciate any support and hope to keep releasing top notch rosters in the future.

Not yet...not sure what would cause that. I'll try to pay attention while playing my franchise and see if I see it happen. Is it happening in franchise mode and are you seeing it with all rosters or one specific roster?
-

If you start your franchise or my player mode with these rosters you can download the faces as you find convenient but you may see some bald headed generic faces until you download the modded ones. The new faces will appear in any game mode that you started with these specific rosters. You wont see the cyberface changes if you already have a franchise started with my first roster released however. Hope that helps...

I have been going through replacing hundreds of cyberfaces in my rosters and taking out the modded faces that are in definite need of more work and replacing them with better ones that are already in the game. So here is my question...Can I just zip all of my player_head.iff files and post them with my next roster release or do rules on this site prevent me from posting any original files from 2K? For the modded faces I use I would obviously credit DetroitStyle, wudl83, and ScottyBilly for the hard work they put into the faces I use in my roster. If this is possible it would make this release much much more complete. I am really hoping that there isn't anything prohibiting me from doing so. If anyone knows the answer to my question please let me know ASAP since I'm getting very close to finishing up with all 30 teams cyberfaces. This would make it much easier then trying to download the hundreds of individual faces from this site and figure out what players to assign them to. Plus many of the ones people would download have now been removed from the rosters... making them irrelevant.

I wasn't trying to hate. Just a making a humorous observation with his nearly 13 ERA. He is pitching horrible this year. I'm guessing hitters are finally doing there homework on old Timmy! I apologize...I'm naturally a smart *** so i'm sure it came across disrespectful. Sorry about that.
-
Tim Lincecum a 99?!?!? Have you watched him pitch this year?
-
I think the Korean's are up to there thievery again...just a hunch.

I honestly appreciate the amazing amount of work you have done ScottyBilly even if some faces aren't perfect. Like I said before a majority of them are still an improvement upon the generic face that was there. Also...you might want to look into Gimp...it's a free program with all of the bells and whistles that Photoshop has. Just an idea if you are wanting to continue to edit.
-
If you download and install all of the cyberfaces released here to this point.. the only "generic" cyberfaces you will see on the 25 man roster players are ones that either look very close to the actual players face or the players that have such dark skin that I couldn't change the face due to the skin tone prolblem. I changed about 150 generic faces of MLB players to other players cyberfaces that matched more closely to the real players face.
-
ScottyBilly has released minipacks for different teams and the Phillies were one of them. I believe most of the ones you listed were in that pack. Some may have been individually released though. I would suggest to anyone using these rosters to take the time to download all the cyberfaces released to date and then you will have eliminated nearly all of the generic cyberfaces from the 25 man rosters. You wont have to change any face #'s in the editor since it has already been done by me. Just extract the cyberfaces directly into your main 2k12 folder and that's it. I personally plan on going through each team before I start a series against them and replace any of the really glitchy cyberfaces that are in need of more work,. It makes the task far less consuming and easier to tackle. Nothing against ScottyBilly's work but he just doesn't seem to spend nearly as much time on each face as someone like DetroitStyle does. In turn though...he has pumped out hundreds of cyberfaces in about a month and a majority of them are an improvement on the generic one it replaced. All of Detroit styles faces are top notch and look very good in the game so I always use his faces. Some of ScottyBilly's have issues with things like nostril placements, skin tone colors, and the way the facial hair looks. But he has been fixing some as he goes so I'm guessing once he gets a bunch done you may see more of those updated.(Just a hopeful guess) Also just an FYI...some faces look better in game vs looking at them in the editing window so you may want to test them out before deciding. Thanks Donspa I appreciate the understanding. It takes a different breed of person to try to do a complete roster edit like this. But I'm also not easily offended by criticism and to be honest I did these kinds of roster updates long before websites allowed me to share them online. I remember creating Class A short season leagues in Front Page sports baseball as a kid just for my own use..lol
