  1. Yes it is compatible with the portrait megapack from Raidersbball20
  2. Just a heads up...I uploaded a new version of the same roster with a few minor fixes. I changed a few portrait ID's to make RaidersBBall's most recent portrait pack completely compatible now giving portraits to Justin Maxwell, Victor Marte, and Drew Smyly. I also added in a better cyberface for Victor Marte and found a duplicate of Addison Reed that I removed. In addition I changed Andres Blanco's primary position to SS. Let me know if anyone finds anything else.
  3. I definitely welcome the feedback and will change Blanco to SS in my next update. Also when AA and AAA teams settle down more later this season I will be spend much more time on their line-ups and rotations like I did with my final versions of last years rosters. By my final release I had each teams correct starting lineups on the correct teams with some bench players over flowing into AA and A. However at the same time last year I had only edited the "fake names" and put in the Top 100 prospects in my first release so to be this far this early is a much better sign. The injured player problem is a pesky one and I have tried many different routes at tackling the issue. I tried placing all injured players in single A and thus clearing room for the other rosters to be 100% accurate. The big problem with that was that the games AI doesn't really move those players up to the pro's very often unless you manually place them back in at some point through out the season. The other problem is if you try to edit the injuries yourself using Ty's editor it can cause crashes in the transactions menu throughout a franchise not to mention skintone problems on the very dark players. I myself am very happy starting a franchise with these rosters and taking control of my farm system as I see fit. The AI will shuffle everything around as soon as you play a few games anyways so accurate minors are very short lived for those of us who play a season or franchise. Thanks again for the feedback. I felt like I could have kept editing for weeks and still found more things to adjust but I probably would have gone insane. I'm very happy with were these are for now but will do another update further down the road. I actually got to play my first full game since owning it and I loved it! I lost 4-3 in extras..but loved it!
  4. You wont have to do any cyberface # edits on any faces released up through yesterday. Anything that has come out since; you will have to change if it states that you need to in the install notes. As far as which of the "duplicate" cyber-face mods you want to use is entirely up to you. Whichever one you download and place in your folder last is the one that will appear. If you have already downloaded one prior for that player it will just ask to overwrite the existing file.
  5. I appreciate the feed back but I wouldn't say these were errors by any means. Due to the fact that a lot of players are still being designated for assignment and are being called up and down on a daily basis right now. I didn't see it as logical to even attempt right now to pin everyone down for that exact day. AA and AAA teams have only been playing games less then a week...so many of those teams 25 man rosters are still far from complete. Meaning as other original 40 man roster guys like Tyson Gillies get assigned some AAA players will be moving down to AA and vise versa. For this first update I was just trying to create as many AAA and AA players I could for each team as players were originally being assigned. If you look at the AAA rosters in a week almost half of those players will have been re assigned due to injuries and other agreements. As far as Andres Blanco is concerned if you look at his rating at SS he is rated a 90. Meaning he can play there just fine. Many players are listed in the minors at one specific position but in actuality platoon and try many different spots. If you do notice a player that plays another position frequently and his rating at that position is not good then that would be room to raise concern. I do appreciate your feedback though. Also I looked into Chin-lung Hu and saw here that he was traded to Philadelphia but the trade was reversed 6 days ago...so good eye on that one=)
  6. I used all that were available to download on here as of yesterday. Not a big fan of all the modded faces but I believe ScottyBilly will probably be updating some of the ones that need to be re-blended and such. I also have found one skin tone issue thus far since playing my franchise that I will fix for the next update. For those of you that want to fix it yourself you can use Ty's editor and change Ronny Cedeno's skin tone to an 11. If you find anymore please post them here and I will add them into future updates.
  7. Thanks tomk30816 I tried to paste the code that PayPal gave me but it didn't work. I will have to look into it further and see what i'm doing wrong.

These rosters are meant to be used with all cyberfaces created and released on MVPmods.com Not all are faces released are in the game but to make sure you arent missing a face I would suggest downloading ALL of them so that way you know you are safe. Added in tons of "hidden" cyberfaces to the correct players. Corrected batting stances for countless players. Big thanks to DonkeyJote again! Full ratings adjustment (MLB and AAA) accurate as of 8/20/12 Updated gear on many players and a few complete teams to this point. Over 800 hours of editing total into this project. Enjoy! Any injured MLB players can be found in AAA unless the player is out for the season in which case those players can be found in single A. Same works for an injured AAA or AA player...they will be found one level below as well. With the 40 man rosters right around the corner I didn't spend as much time in this release moving around minor league players. *To install extract to one of the following locations: For WinXP users: C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\2K Sports\Major League Baseball 2K12\Saves For Vista and Windows 7 users: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\Major League Baseball 2K12\Saves Due to the enormous amount of work that has gone into this project I am placing a donation button below for those of you that appreciate my hard work and want to help counter some of the pains of doing a project like this with a small donation. It is definitely not expected and these rosters will always be 100% Free to download. I do ask however that you do not release any version of this roster without prior permission from me. I have a large amount of time and energy invested into this project and would like to see it keep this level of accuracy and legitimacy. Thanks again to all of you with your encouraging words in the forum over the past months. It has been a wild and crazy year of editing and I am happy to take a break for a while and actually play the game some. Thanks again everyone and I hope you guys enjoy. PLAY BALL! 10. Ya. Sorry about the delay guys, I have been battling a bout with the flu but feel much better today. I am very close to 100% finished though. I will be making some final tweaks tonight and will be doing a thorough quality check as well. These will be released this weekend no doubt about it. Check back tomorrow afternoon or evening and you should see some good news.
  11. Thanks. When doing contract extensions I multiplied the new contract by .8 I believe that is the number you posted last year. From what I remember all contracts in game are 80% of what they are in real life so the payroll ratio will stay accurate. I have used some of the face replacements from the generic cyberface thread; I also found some new more accurate ones to use as well.
  12. Any prospects that aren't in AA or AAA will be found in single A. I'm also using single A for injured or DL players as well.
  13. I tried like hell to get these done by tonight but way to much stuff got in the way of my editing time this weekend including Easter...which I forgot about when I guessing on my release date in my earlier post. So I have to apologize...but I promise it will be more then worth the wait. These rosters will be nearly as complete as my final roster update from last year; which took me nearly all season to edit and perfect. This one will have been done in about 30 days! It's enough editing to make a crazy person sane. 100% of AAA and a ton of AA players have now been completed and I have starting on batting line-ups and pitching rotations as of tonight. I do have work all week so I am guessing with limited editing time these will be rolling out about Wednesday. I'm thinking more like Tuesday night but I hate pinning myself down...lol I also don't want to rush these and let it affect the quality at all. Once again sorry for those who are patiently waiting to start their franchises but it will be worth it. Also, thanks for the encouraging and helpful posts.
  14. I am aiming for this to be released by Sunday. This roster update is massive! I have spent close to 200 hours researching and editing for this roster. I still have at about 2 full days of editing ahead of me so I would guess Sunday evening you will see a release barring any major set backs.
  15. Thanks again for the info DonkeyJote. I finished all of the batting stances yesterday and only ran into one that I couldn't find. It appears Willy Taveras' batting stance has been changed to another name so I couldn't fix Brendan Harris' stance yet. All of the others were still in the game by the same name. I will be working on gear and rating adjustments through the next few days; then it will just be waiting for 25 man rosters and batting line-ups/rotations to be released. These rosters are testing very good with no glitches found yet. I took my time and did 99% of the editing in game so there should be NO skin tone issues with any of the players. Many of the very dark skinned players will have to wait until an editor is released that fixes the skin tone issue in order to have an updated cyber face. There are also a few players where I created a player so I could change their skin tone in game and still change the cyber face of the player. It a temporary fix for now that definitely helps on a few of the more popular players or prospects.
  16. This one definitely needs some work with blending the skin colors better. There is a distinctive line on the back of his neck with this cyber face. I thank you for your efforts though but I would suggest spending more time on skin tones and textures. While some of your faces look very good...others imho look worse then the generic face it replaced. Just try giving some constructive criticism. Not meant to offend.
  17. I edited 1000+ of names "in game" and with Ty's editor last year and never ran into any kind of limit. So I think we would be more then safe. I have had to do all name edits this year in game due to the skin tone issue but have yet to run into a limit there either. I'm really hoping TY can update his roster editor to fix the skin tone problem. That has definitely slowed down the process and would hinder this kind of roster update as well.
  18. If they don't release a baseball game next year on PC this just may be something I'd be willing to tackle. Last year I edited well over 2500 players for my "NoFakeNames" roster so 750(25 for each team) doesn't sound entirely impossible. I'm currently working on this years rosters and will want to play a season or two before I would be even willing to consider doing something like this. However...if there is no game next year due to licencing then I might give it a go.
  19. Just updating everyone on the rosters and they are coming along very nicely. I have put in close to 100 hours of editing at this point; and would say I have atleast that left to go. I'm getting more and more excited through each phase though so my motivation is growing I now have 100% accurate 40 man rosters with every player on the correct teams and up to date contracts on all players who have been given extensions or have been re-signed. I have nearly all AAA teams filled as well but will fine tune that more come closer to opening day when teams finish assigning more players to minor league squads. I have also replaced ALL "fake name" players (over 200) with the correct player names and assigned them to the correct team or released them to FA. This makes nearly all the free agents real players. I have also gone through and taken any of the fake players that were rated above 60 on ALL teams and lowered them to 59 or below. This makes it easier to know exactly who is a real player and who is fake one. I have also nearly finished updating hundreds of batting stances thanks to help from DonkeyJotes list. I haven't used all of them from last year since some players now have their own added in but this makes a big difference when playing a game. As of now I am currently working on BA's top 100 prospect list and am creating any missing prospects and adding them to their respective team. From there I will start fine tuning ratings, updating gear for players, and replace tons of generic cyberfaces that have yet to be modded. These rosters are also meant to be used with the cyberfaces modded and released on MVPmods.com. If you don't download them you will see a generic cyberface in place of the one that would be there. This will save you from having to change the cyber-face ID# yourself. I am still on pace to release these as soon as opening day batting line-ups and rotations have been set. I will also have a donation button this year on my download window when this roster is released. This is mostly due to peers suggesting I should do so since I have so many hours invested into this project. I am definitely not one who thinks charging for mods is the way to go but if you do appreciate my hard work and want to donate... I will be more then happy to accept since I am a poor college student and have an outdated laptop for editing I hope you guys are as excited as I am to start your franchises and My Player modes. Well I'm back at it since I have today and tomorrow off I should be getting quite a bit more done. 8P
  20. I have found a few more as well while editing my rosters. These are the only one I can remember right off the top but ill post any others I find as well. Carlos Silva-1788 Mike Hampton-474
  21. Thanks JC121081 and DonkeyJote! I have been plugging away and have an enormous amount done so far with these rosters and they are turning out very well. I have been able to replace nearly all of the "fake name" players through out FA and the minors with the correct players name. There are a lot(150+) this year. So I will have a very good start when I began with prospects and AAA. I have also been using Ty's editor from last year and replacing all of the generic 2K cyberfaces with ones that much closer match the real players face; much like I did last year with the help of the generic cyberface thread on here. I'm also about half way through the batting stances update as well. I'm hoping by opening day to have an amazingly accurate roster ready to roll out complete with AAA as well. I'm looking for a FEW people to beta test this roster out as I get closer to being finished...so if you are interested and feel you can offer educated analysis of these please message me. As far as ratings go I will be matching very closely to what 2k uses for their official release close to or on opening day. I will also be using real life performance and the 2012 Baseball Prospectus to aid in any further rating adjustments I see necessary. I'm as excited as anyone to use these and plan on getting it right the first time so there will be far less updates through out the season and much more playing! :clapping:
  22. I am currently working on another "NoFakeNames" roster update for 2k12 and am asking for any suggestions or feedback from the community in this thread. I have already started work on this and have completed all current transactions and trades(including extensions) and am now working on adding in any of the missing players from the 40 man rosters. Once i have completed with the 40 man rosters...I will be adding in the top prospects for each team as well. If anyone has any batting stances, cyberfaces, gear, and/or rating suggestions...I'm asking that you post them here. I will look into the suggestion and if valid I will add it into my release. I'm hoping to have a completed roster update with accurate lineups (with AAA included) as close to opening day as possible. I'm very thankful for any help on this enormous undertaking. Cheers! :drinks:
  23. Ya. I'm using the default ini file. I retested after installing the photomod and I did drop to about 100 FPS so there was a small hit but nothing to noticeable for me and the colors are much more realistic.
