I just tested out the homerun derby with my new roster and it loaded and played without a crash. The "0" homerun problem is because it is looking for the players last season stats which I removed in order to replace them with career stats through the 2014 season.

​Does it happen with all rosters or one specifically? I know I have played home run derby successfully a few times but it's been a while since I tested it. I am trying to make this new roster work as good or better than the default one and so far I have pretty much everything working as it did. The My player and create a team modes work great and you can now edit your My players face again using the in game editor along with any of the create-a-players' faces as well. Thanks. ​I can probably extract and use some of the ID numbers..especially the major prospects and current call ups. However I wont be able to do what did was with the last roster file since a 99% of the players in that file were already created and assigned a "row" in Reditor. Simple explenaton...I wont be able to copy and paste the ids over lke I did in the last one.

How long does it usually take you to do? ​I have figured out how to solve pretty every crash or issue I have ever run into but this Morse one is very odd. Also pretty much all of the new minor leaguers have blank unused cyberface ID's right now..there may be one or two still out there with a previously used ID but I do know all the fake players now have blank ones as well. I found a bank of ID numbers that have yet to be used so as you create new players in game those players will have unused portrait IDs assigned to the as well.

​Lol. That's how I noticed the issue. I tried putting him down in AAA as I do all other MLB players on the 15 day DL and was shocked when the season crashed. I haven't tried using the editor to place him on the DL but that may be the workaround. Either that or the Marlins will have 26 men on my next roster with a disclaimer about the issue. Once the regular season starts you can send him down to AAA and it will work just fine..its weird. Its as if he was in cahoots with 2K... He is the only player I have ever found that has to be on an MLB squad. The good news is the new roster is epic...i have mtached all portrait ID and face Id's to the roster you sent me after opening day. I have also added in over 150 new minor leaguers and prospects along with tons of other little gems;)

Hello Everyone. I have been working hard trying to release a Memorial day roster update for 2k12 but have been delayed because I have come across a very strange bug that causes a crash in franchise mode every single time I do it ...no matter which roster I use... including the default 2K roster!!! However, after hours and hours of searching for the culprit of the crash to desktop that occurs at the end of every season in franchise mode... I have finally discovered that whenever I begin a franchise with Michael Morse not in the majors (so either in AAA, AA, A, or FA) the game will crash at the same point at the end of the season. I tested this with several different rosters and each and every time I send Michael Morse to free agency or AAA and start a franchise.. the game will CTD right after the world series of the first year. If I I start the season with him up on an MLB squad the game will work fine and move on to the next season. I was curious if anyone else could test this out on their computer/set-up and make sure this isn't an isolated problem on my end? I can tell there is an issue right from the begging of the regular season because the notification is just a little bit different right when the regular season is starting. When the game is working properly (and Michael Morse is up on an MLB squad) the game pops up a message welcoming you to opening day and prompts you with 2 options to adjust rosters for the 40 to 25 man roster change. When the crash will occur it just gives you one simple message saying that the regular season is going to start with no options in the pop up window. If anyone could help provide any further info on this issue I would be very appreciative. Thanks.

Lol Nope...thats not me. I just feel bad for some of the great modders who have been banned for multiple accounts. I know i had one other account when this site first started and I was an MVP junkie. I never remembered my password when I came back to this site years later for 2K downloads. I have had the BSU-FAN account name ever since. If memory serves me my name was Homerun4Holden I believe but could be wrong..it close though. I was 19 when I first came here(i'm now 32) and was one of the originals. And for fear of being banned when I returned I never mentioned it. But now Im sure you will try to ban me with the other name or something. Your approach to "help" in the 2K forums has been horrible at best and most the time you come across rude or ask why they arent just playing MVP. It's a joke.

I follow all of the rules here and always have. No disrespect to the MVP modders at all...they do great work and deserve the credit. Yankee4Life is a bad ambassador for this site and is a troll in the 2K forums and it leads me to believe beyond reason that he has targeted specific modders here with the intent he knew 2K was starting to take so many of the MVP modders. You think its a "conspiracy theory"...but in reality its someone that is a bad admin abusing there powers for something they are passionate about. It happens everyday in real life...no conspiracies. He play nice when he gets called out but his history in the forums tells a much different story. I figured his absolute abuse and constant aguing with people years ago would get him taken off as an admin but nope. So now I am going somewhere they appreciate the community. This is not a 2K vs MVP debate for me at all.

It has been pointed out recently (multiple times in fact) that some admins here believe in putting down and even at times going as far as doing anything within their power to disable the 2k modding community for fear it may put their precious future MVP mods in jeopardy. This culture is something I am no longer willing to tolerate and have brought it up in the forums many times through out the years and have had little to no resolve. As I am sure they will take this post down or lock it as they tend to do when they loose control of freedom of speech. However... I will believe this message should be heard and I will re-post this to other sites where my future downloads will live. I am currently in the process of removing each one of my contributions to this site and will be moving them to an arena that is far more appreciative of such a large community that has shown it so much support but received little to none in return when issues arise. It has been fun..I will miss some of what the MVPmods community stood for but not miss the ridiculous banning for multiple accounts(no other site does this) or absurd undermining comments from an admin who has never played the game he trolls the forums of. I too am starting my franchise. I am thinking of starting a MLB2K15 franchise thread for those who are playing a franchise using these files so they can post updates about there seasons. I think t would be cool to see how everyone's seasons play out. I have simmed quite a few times through the 2015 season and am getting really good results. Very excited to see how my Braves franchise plays out....lol. I just have to be wayyyy more patient than ever at the plate and play small ball to score runs now. Hey in real life we are off to a 4-0 start and we have traded everyone away. I really like what John Hart has done and he was the one who helped rebuild your tribe I believe.

Not all cyberface ID's matched those from 2K11 (Especially coaches). Honestly I just looked back at my last years release and put that cyberface ID in and it worked in game(Francona has glasses and all). I don't believe it is a custom face however.

I have never seen a portrait in game for a manager either so I don't think they are ever used. However I did find and fix Francona's cyberface and will be re-releasing a new version soon. However in response to your question, it does the same thing for players as coaches for cyberface ID's in Reditor. If you are looking in Reditor under the "staff" tab you will see a column called "AppID" you will see most of those numbers in the 4000 range. However those are not the actual cyberface numbers...if you look under the appearance tab in reditor and find that coach (or players) "AppID" number (which is the number to the far left colum under that tab) you will see the very next column to the right is called "CF_ID" that number is what the game is looking for when it looks for a cyber-face. I hope this makes sense.

I do believe you need the Guru version of Reditor to do that. Who are you referring to? I will be releasing a final version of my Opening Day roster tonight and want to get in as much detail in as possible.

No it isn't weather related. The original 2K roster had base coaches in normal uniforms without coats...only Managers had coats to begin with. I have tried fixing this but still haven't figured out why all of them wear coats now and when I tried a few ideas to fix it it seemed to cause bigger issues than it was worth. I even tried putting all of the coaches appearance ID's back to the default values and it still didnt work. I will continue to look into this because I even took the time to update base coaches in my new roster hoping their last names would show up on the third/first base coaches backs.

Nice work! Not a Redbirds or St Louis fan but nice to see the AAA getting some attention to detail.

Correct. This includes version 2 with some portrait and cyber-face corrections made. There are still incorrect portraits in the minor leagues but I am currently working with scottybilly on trying to eradicate those.
