  1. LMAO! Yes, you're absolutely right daflyboys. I wouldn't want that to happen to 1976 Oscar.
  2. I agree daflyboys. I'm going to double-check the other Marlins uniforms tonight and see if they have similar issues. I'm going to go ahead and post this "fix" so that members aren't pulling their hair out wondering what's wrong. It's amazing the little things I'm still learning about this game.
  3. Good eye and thanks for catching that. So, here's the solution bro...this issue is not actually a problem with rosters/numbering; it is a problem with the specific uniform FONT/NUMBER file. For the Marlins Home & Road uniforms, I found that the numerals 6 & 7 and 2 & 3 needed to be swapped and re-packed into the FONT file for these uniforms. I noticed that this happened with the Tampa Bay Rays a few years back...I wonder if it's a Florida team conspiracy. LOL! Anyway, just install this ZIP file and it will "fix" those uniform number issues. -Dennis Miami Marlins Number Correction.zip
  4. Daflyboys, I think you'll get a kick out of this Animation glitch from 2K12. I was playing this last summer and noticed these great moves by Astros fist baseman Carlos Pena, after the catch.
  5. Oh last year, I just modded the CSN Scoreboard with MLB Network logos to give it a more "universal" feel to it.
  6. Hey there Daflyboys, In addition to the info about 2K12 I posted in your thread; I wanted to give you a link to one of my gameplay videos of the game on PC. In this video, I'm using the Rays and I'm using the Pinpoint Aim style of pitching. And perhaps you can get some idea of the animations quality from this video or any of my other 2K12 videos on my YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUV9W83XRwx2l26274ROBgg Hope this helps, -Dennis
  7. Hey daflyboys, I can only speak about the Offline mode of the 2K Baseball games (I've never played the game online); but here's my input: 1. If The Show has the smoothest animations (10 out of 10, with 10 being the smoothest); then I would say MLB 2K12 is about a 7 out of 10. The outfielders move rather smoothly but I find the infielders (like the shortstop diving for a ball up the middle) to be a bit more "jerkier" in theie sudden movements. Batter & Pitcher animations are rather smooth and realistic too. 2. The only 2 forms of pitching are the "Pinpoint Aim" pitching mode where you aim your pitch and hold down the button for spped/accuracy and strive for hitting the "sweet spot". As you hold down the pitch button, the aim circle grows from tiny to larger and you have to try and not go over the "Perfect" limit. The other mode involves playing thumb aerobics with the analog stick of your controller. For example, a fastball forces you to move the analog stick upwards and then quickly down to try and get the pitch "accurate". Unfortunately, there is no MVP Baseball/Pitch Bar mode in this game. Only MVP and The Show has that mode if I recall correctly. 3. Finally, I think the batting feels pretty real in 2K12. I couldn't say the same for MLB 2K10 & 2K11; which I felt had the "canned results" you mentioned. There seemed to be only a handful of hit varieties in those versions. 2K12 definitely feels improved in hit variety and the hitting animations. Also, the bunting is a whole lot better in 2K12, compared to the previous 2 years. Hope this helps a little, -Dennis
  8. Well thanks for this info Daflyboys. I bought the Tiger Woods 08 game back in 2008 and didn't start playing it again until you mentioned it a couple of years ago. I just remembered that when I moved back from Seattle and back to California (last summer)...I tossed the game (mint condition, in-case) in the trash. SOB! SOB!
  9. LOL! Well I really like aspects of MVP and the 2K series; but I'll always enjoy MVP quite a bit more for numerous reasons, including the Total Classics Mods <obviously>. So, it's not like I'm saying that I'm a big Yankees fan and I love the Red Sox too...I think I just threw up in my mouth writing that last part.
  10. As always, thank you for posting your videos bhurst. It was because of your Blue Jays franchise using MLB 08 The Show, that influenced me to start buying that game a few years back.
  11. Wow, thanks a ton raiders...I'll now be on the lookout for the new Durham Bulls wordmarks and if I luck out, I will send them your way ASAP.
  12. Oh and did the original poster break the record for getting banned the quickest? LOL! Geez Louise...
  13. You know raiders, I've been looking ALL OVER the place to find the Travelers new uniform pictures and simply couldn't find them. I swear I think they were the last team to reveal their season uniform updates. I got the logos a few months ago and wondered how the uniforms would look like...these look pretty good. I'd like to make these for MVP Baseball and wondered if you could send me over the font/number files like you had posted for the Charlotte Knights. Again, thanks so much for your focus on the minor leagues and their uniforms.
  14. Either that or I thought someone broke into my computer and stole it off my hard drive.
  15. These look excellent sir. Thank you for making these. I think these are the best uniform upgrade of all the teams (majors & minors) for this season.
  16. I agree with you guys that the ROAD wordmarks are a pain in the rear to find good quality ones. I usually have to create them in Illustrator which is what I had to do with these when I made them for MVP Baseball. Raidersbball20: I am more impressed with how you apparently found the number/font file for the Knights. If you don't mind me asking...where the heck did you find them? Thanks to your El Paso set, I was able to do the MVP version of those uniforms. Great job on these minor league uniforms you've been creating.
  17. Thanks so much for your work on this roster Ari. I was playing a Rays/Blue Jays game and also noticed that Desmond Jennings [RAYS] has the correct face and white arms issue (in addition to the list I posted above). Again, much thanks on taking on these skin-color problems.
  18. As expected, superb job Ari. I couldn't figure out why I could not apply the letter/number border colors with this particular uniform; but thankfully you are a certified 2K Baseball Guru.
  19. Hey Raiders, Check your PM. Maybe those will help you out. Take care.
  20. One of the best posts ever. You said basically everything I was going to myself. Great work Reme.
  21. LOL! Yay, now we have an ethnically-correct TC 1984. Seriously, thank you Jim for identifying those issues. I wanted to ask if you wouldn't mind sending me over the original #881 Rusty Staub cyberface since I "overwrote" with Dave Parker's last night. I'll rename my file here to #884 and change it in MVPEdit as suggested. Thank you.
  22. Ari, I know I posted this to you via FB, but I wanted to put it here too. Found a couple more players with the "wrong color" issues. The following are players who should be darker in the face AND body: D. Gregorious (AZ) G. German (Mets) M. Martinez (PIT) J. Dyson (KC) And these guys have light-colored arms and their faces are fine: [Angels] H. Kendrick [blue Jays] J. Reyes [Cubs] Wesley Wright [Dodgers] H. Ramirez, C. Crawford, J. Uribe, H. Sosa [indians] N. Morgan [Mariners] F. Rodney [Marlins] A. Hechavarria [Orioles] A. Casillia [Padres] T. Sipp [Phillies] R. Hernandez, J. Rollins, D. Brown, B. Revere [Pirates] M. Martinez [Rangers] N. Feliz, P. Fielder, J. Profar [Reds] R. Bernadina [Rockies] L. Hawkins [Royals] M. Mesa [Tigers] R. Davis, A. Alburquerque [Twins] M. Sano [White Sox] D. Veal [Yankees] CC. Sabthia
  23. Yes sir, just use TiT and the Real Dave Parker appears on the Reds. Don't worry, I'm not "going to the other side" of New York teams. I just find it intriguing to play a season with a pitcher who had one of the best rookie years in the history of the game. Plus the guy pitched a no-hitter for our side too, remember.
  24. Thank you sir. I always appreciate your comments and input. Best of luck with your Reds dynasty, I'm trying to decide which team I'm going to use for a TC 1984 dynasty myself. I'm almost tempted to use the Mets and see how many Ks I can get from Dwight Gooden.
