If it makes any difference, I'm not interested in adding any more bells & whistles than the up to date rosters & player ratings. Unless the facepacks & stuff are necessary to making the rosters work, I won't be downloading them.

I just started playing this game again after a four year hiatus. I used to run it with the mods & extra downloads in place. I seem to have forgotten how to do that because I can't get these rosters to work properly. Every time I try to play a game it stops working during the loading screen. I can't find a version of the 08 conversion tool to use either, so what I've been doing is just downloading the roster & overwriting the existing database files. Any tips here? I'd really appreciate it, I used to love this game & I really want to start playing again with up to date rosters.
