  1. If you're having trouble with the above fix, you can try using a batch (.bat) file to automate the old date-change workaround. Details here: http://pcgamesbeat.b...und.html#update Basically, you copy/paste the script into Notepad and save it as a batch (.bat) file, which you then use to launch the game. The script changes your system date to October 2nd, launches the game, and then reverts to the correct system date when you're done playing. The setup is a little more involved than some of the other fixes, but the end result is that I can simply double-click an icon to start the game and play normally.
  2. I took things a step further and created a batch (.bat) file to automatically change my system date when I launch MLB 2K12. The fix isn't exactly for the faint of heart, but it's really not that hard if you're relatively comfortable with Windows. http://pcgamesbeat.b...und.html#update I feel like it's a little more elegant than running a separate utility to change the system date and doesn't involve downloading anything. Then again, I spent a couple of hours getting it running so that I wouldn't need to spend 10 seconds changing the date every time I start 2K12. I basically trial-and-errored my way through the creation process this afternoon, so there's no guarantee this will work out of the box for your system. Still, I figured I would post it.
