  1. Nice work as always Kg. One thing that I noticed though, was that the weight and height for some of the players were a bit off. Miguel Cabrera for example is 6'2'' 220 in your rosters while he's listed at 6'4'' 240. I also think some of the ratings could be updated, but that's an easy fix for users.

    Great job.

  2. Obviously you have not seen him play this year.

not much no, but since he's leading the team in VORP, EQA, OPS, homers and is 2nd in AVG, SB and doubles, it's pretty obvious he's been the best player. Perhaps we should move this discussion elsewhere though.

  3. I don't really like to be negative on people's work around here no matter what they make. I'm talking about everything, a sig, a mod or the wallpapers in here. The concept of the wallpaper you made was fine, but to call Yankee Stadium the "House that A-Rod" built is just plain wrong. The Yankees are all about winning. I don't know what that guy's about. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give this wallpaper a 1 just because of the text you put in.

If Arod isn't about winning then it's obvious you're not making the playoffs since he's by far the best player on your team.

  4. I like it, great work Lucas!

Fielder is listed at 260 I believe, which seems about right considering he's just 6'0''. Let's not forget that CC is 6'7'', although I must say that during the Tribe's celebration earlier this week, he was wearing a pretty baggy sleeveless shirt ... which showed a little bit too much CC-flesh. I still love him though!

  5. Once again KG, I'd love to download your rosters, but takes me almost a day to update my models.big to make it compatibe with the rosters. I know the rosters are spot on though.

just out of curiosity -- which of my faces are in the models.big?

  6. I wish I could download this KG, as I'm sure it's great, but I went through too much after updating your roster to be compatible with my own models.big that I don't feel like doing it again.

Appreciate your contributions though (and your support)

Btw ... I have Hart and Hardy on my fantasy team -- go Brewers!!! ;)

  7. sorry to come back at this, but I just replaced my initstaz.big file with the original one but I still have the same problem. It also says that my initstay.big cannot be unpacked, which is a file I don't even have (it also isn't on the original cd). Do you know what this problem is?

  8. Couldn't the fielding gloves thread, so I'll just post it here.

Whenever I click on the install.bat (after extracting it to the main mvp 2005 directory) it says it can't open packfile 'datainitstaz.big' ... and therefore the gloves don't show up in the game.

    Am I doing something wrong?

  9. Great program Ty. This is actually the first one I've used, dunno why i waited so long. Hopefully you can add that .mep thing so we can perhaps update our drafts with real players (any baseballamerica subscribers out there?)

anyway, I was wondering if you could incorporate the 4 seam fastball movement just like it is in mvpedit. Right now you can just change it from 0 to 1, but it results in a very odd knuckleball-like movement. The game gets rid of all 4 seam FB movement after progression and it some cases it kinda messes up a pitcher's success. So, perhaps you can change it to in the mvp 2005 editor to be the same as in mvpedit.

    thanks

  10. All-star, I win some lose some. Using Rodkey's datafile with some of my own adjustments to get some more strikeouts and just generally give me a little edge when pitching. I also try to stay patient if I'm playing seriously -- had a couple of 7 or 8 pitch walks/strikeouts

Sliders have been a bit in my favor so far though, so I might adjust them a little
