  1. that's very nice KG, thanks alot. Seems like I'm one of the few Marte supporters (atleast over on the mlb.com message boards), so hopefully he'll justify my faith in him
  2. Couldn't the fielding gloves thread, so I'll just post it here. Whenever I click on the install.bat (after extracting it to the main mvp 2005 directory) it says it can't open packfile 'datainitstaz.big' ... and therefore the gloves don't show up in the game. Am I doing something wrong?
  3. some great wallpapers in here, too bad there are no Indians ones (especially a Marte one, but he doesn't have any hi res pics) good work though
  4. with Mvpedit you can give it different types of movement such as sink, cutting action or maddux-like movement. It's not really the rate of movement more the different types of movement
  5. Great program Ty. This is actually the first one I've used, dunno why i waited so long. Hopefully you can add that .mep thing so we can perhaps update our drafts with real players (any baseballamerica subscribers out there?) anyway, I was wondering if you could incorporate the 4 seam fastball movement just like it is in mvpedit. Right now you can just change it from 0 to 1, but it results in a very odd knuckleball-like movement. The game gets rid of all 4 seam FB movement after progression and it some cases it kinda messes up a pitcher's success. So, perhaps you can change it to in the mvp 2005 editor to be the same as in mvpedit. thanks
  6. All-star, I win some lose some. Using Rodkey's datafile with some of my own adjustments to get some more strikeouts and just generally give me a little edge when pitching. I also try to stay patient if I'm playing seriously -- had a couple of 7 or 8 pitch walks/strikeouts Sliders have been a bit in my favor so far though, so I might adjust them a little
  7. same problem here with the strikeouts. Could be a datafile issue though.
  8. What I don't understand is why Washington made that deal. Of course they needed some offense, but surely they knew the drama that Soriano would bring with him. I wonder if, at the time the deal was completed, the Nationals had expressed their desire to move Soriano to the outfield. Nevertheless, I hope they will enjoy his 15-20 hr's, 100+ K's and weak defense. It sure is worth the 10 mil he's getting.
