Cavicchi

For those who may be interested, Cavicchi is my Mother's Maiden Name, and that is the name I use on forums...well, most forums.

My father's name is Ack and my mother's name is Eka--those are the best translations I can give in the English language. My father's spaceship (flying saucer) crash-landed in a farm-field here in Pennsylvania. While my father was repairing the spaceship, I was  taken care of by the farmer and his wife, Claudia Cavicchi. I can't reveal the name of the farmer because he made me promise not to when telling this story; Claudia Cavicchi said I could reveal her name, so no problem there.

Eventually my father repaired the spaceship and returned to the planet Zovuna, again, the best translation I can give in the English language. There was one thing my father forgot---me! Fortunately, the farmer and his wife took a liking to me and adopted me as their son, and they changed my name to something more American, as opposed to my Zovunian name.

I grew up on the farm, milking cows, feeding chickens, and so on, until moving to the city. I came to baseball by way of the farmer when he took me to a ballgame; I vaguely remember seeing Babe Ruth pitching for the Red Sox against some other team. Yes, I have been around a very long time, ninety-eight of your Earth years; by way of Zovunian time, I am still a fairly young man.

I eventually left the farm and moved to the city, and then moved to the country, a rural part of Pennsylvania, where I met my present wife, Maria.

So now you know something about me, and that is about it for now.
