I believe other modders, including myself would be more eager to contribute if their was more interest in this game in general. But this game is over 10 years old. The days of several modders constantly making cyberfaces, updating portraits, team uniforms, stadiums, overlays, miscellanous graphic enhancements are unfortunately over. And overhauling the roster file has hit a dead end through no fault of anyone that has tried extensively with their talents.

i know alot of guys who have modded for MLB2K also modded for the NBA2K and FIFA games, and switched to modding for NBA2K and FIFA pretty much exclusively. The fact that those games get a new release every year makes it a no brainer really. And there are far more modding tools constantly being created for those games.

Unfortunately there are alot of things that need to be updated: every team uniform,especially now that they wear sponsor logo patches. Every stadium has to be updated with accurate advertisement signs, as well as any cosmetic changes such as the new pitch clock for every main scoreboard and the other smaller ones. The pitch clock would also need to somehow be added to every overlay as well. The new Texas Rangers stadium hasnt been done yet for 2k. There just arent enough modders interested in updating this game every season anymore.

Imagine if every current announcer and broadcaster sold the rights to using their voice in future baseball games. It would be great to play a franchise with your teams actual broadcasters. James Earl Jones, the voice of Darth Vader did this and a digital version of his voice was featured in the Obi-Wan series on Disney+. From now on, even after he dies, Disney can use a digital representation of his voice.

Oh c'mon! We all know that you will turn on them whenever they lose their next game. LOL 😝

how does this look in-game?

Frankly Gordo, my random, allegedly asinine comment I made was strictly for my own amusement. I have enough bad things going on in my immediate and extended family for me to pay too much attention to all the pathetic, ignorant, selfish, racist, sexist bullshit that is going on in the country. I am a caregiver for my invalid father who suffered a massive stroke in late 2010 and now cant get out of bed or sit up under his own power. My mother has had multiple health issues relating to congestive heart failure during this past year. And we just found out that her sister has breast cancer, and her sister's husband has been going treatment for cancer in his throat, cheeks, and tongue. Last I heard, he had a feeding tube inserted into his gut and he has stopped talking because of the pain. I have a girlfriend battling leukemia and other health issues. And why this heat on the goingons in Canada? My parents have dear friends in Canada and none of them complain about how supposedly repressed they are. All they complain/joke about is the cold and snow during the winter.

speaking of those cancelled Dr. Seuss books: they all sold out because republicans bought them all to resell to fund their reelection campaigns next year. Ted Cruz is selling dozens of copies of Green Eggs and Ham personally autographed by himself. No kidding!
