  5. So really, for anybody that purchased vlad's editing tool believing that it could edit any mlb2k12 file, they merely paid for a more detailed roster editor?
  6. No biggie. I already have all the stadiums, uniforms, cyberfaces, overlays, logos, etc. released thus far this season.
  7. Portrait pack updated to 8/27/2015. This will be my last update for this season. The portraits I have created may or may not be included in a large portrait pack along with Raidersball's portraits for the total conversion mod that is soon to be released.
  8. That's actually really good. I would try to avoid using reference pics that show the person with a big smile on their face, so you don't exaggerate the lines on their face when they have a relaxed facial expression. Also try to avoid using reference pics that have too much shadow or light on the face. Otherwise you have to use multiple reference pics in order to piece together every part of the face you create. Are you using Blender as you do this?
  9. Awesome work on all of those uniforms!
  10. Sounds good KC! Here is a RAR file that contains all of my portraits in .dds format as well as portraits done by Raidersball and others. I will also post my franchise file that shows all of the generic players I edited into real players and created portraits for if there is interest in using them. portraits.rar MLB2K15byBsuFanFxV6.rar
  11. I have not seen any crashes as of yet when I edit generic players on BSU-FAN's roster. In fact, I've been using his V6 Franchise file to edit the generic players. But I do all of it using the roster editor, and its entirely different than editing with reeditor.
  12. As much as I appreciated the contribution from the Korean modders that dasteelerz uploaded, I agree that a lot of the portraits were made with low quality pics and copy/pasted hats, torsos etc. For a total conversion mod, I want the best portraits made from the best photos of each player. If I had to be very picky, I would want them all the same size and done with the same method. However, as Raidersball said, he makes portraits from hi-res actual team photos that he gets from mlbpressbox. I learned how to make portraits using the portrait maker/photoshop plug-in that Krawitham posted here. That is why they look so different than Raidersball's portraits. All my reference photos for players come from mlb.com and milb.com since I don't have access to mlbpressbox. They are not official team photos, but high quality photos with the uniform photoshopped after a player is signed or traded to a new team. If you look at my portrait pack, you can see that the only portraits I make are for players as they are traded or sign with a new team during the season, as well as minor league players that did not pose for a team photo with a major league team. I would just release a portrait pack that combines my and Raidersball's efforts whether they are sized the same or not. BSU-FAN's roster already has the portrait ID numbers assigned correctly for 99% of them. And after doing my own editing to generic players on his roster, I've mostly filled out every Single-A and Double-AA team to include 25 players and made portraits for said players. It's not very important but I personally do not want generic players in a baseball game.
  13. New post trade deadline portrait pack just released in downloads section!
  14. Alligators have survived and thrived for millions of years. They have every right to live in their natural habitat. Its goddam people that go/ move into the alligator's habitat, then kill them by the thousands for no reason except food, profit, or just because they see them as a threat. Personally I laugh whenever people are attacked, killed, eaten by predatory animals like sharks, lions, tigers, alligators, crocodiles, bears, komodo dragons, giant snakes, giant fish, etc. What the hell did they expect? Shame on anybody for being where they don't belong and putting themselves or others in danger. And shame on anybody for shooting and killing the offending animal for doing what is in its nature to do.

  16. No I am not going to continue this conversation. He can believe what he wants and offer me and anybody that will listen his proof that I stole from his mods. I know that I didnt and I gave him credit anyway because there are obvious similarities in the head models of a few players(because we chose the same player head model to edit from). He can request an admin to remove my mod entirely or all of them from this site completely because that is how unimportant it is to me. Frankly, if I saw somebody else do what he is accusing me of, I wouldn't give a shit, nor care about getting credit for part of the mod. I have far more serious things going on in my life than to defend the integrity of a cyberface or two I made. My girlfriend w/ leukemia just got placed in a plastic germ bubble in an ICU at Stanford last night because her weakened immune system is putting her life in jeopardy now. I cant touch her or even see/visit her except from a few feet away outside her bubble. 24/7 I am caring for my father who's left side of his body is useless from a stroke in late 2010. Oh yeah, as of earlier this year, he has prostate cancer too. You try physically moving around a grown man that is as big as I am 6'5, 250lbs+, or pickin him off the ground if he falls during the one moment that you aren't there to help him. I have a half-pint mum that is helpless to do anything to help me because she is too afraid. All she does is wipe his ass after he shits, and give him a sponge bath everyday. Nobody in my father's family gives a flyin fuck, or offers any help to us, and the only person that would have was my only sister. But wait, shes fuckin dead because she went and got herself killed drunk driving the month before my dads stroke. Look up her name, Stacy Anne White, died September 12, 2010. They blasted her name all over the newspapers and local news here for what happened for 2 or 3 days. The only pleasure I occasionally get is watchin baseball, making mods and contributing on this site, and playin with my black pug Ygor

  18. My bad, it was Strasburg head model I used as a base for Sanchez. I initially tried Ian Kennedy's but didnt like it (too wide). I am not going to get into a debate with you about what you think I may have done. I did not take any part of your work to use for mine. And if I did, I still would have tweaked it to my liking and giving you credit for using it as a base. I know how to use blender too, except for creating player's longer head hair. I will give you the credit you ask for because you are convinced those specific head models look so similar. And if they do, it was merely a coincidence.
  19. Well it could be worse. Imagine if fans somehow had the option to fill in the blank or vote for players that are deceased. It would be no different than a political ballot.
  20. I have no problem giving you credit if I use any portion of your work but in this case I didn't. I can tell you what head model I used for every single cyberface that I created and how I used Blender to slightly tweak it. To mention a few: For Cory Burns, I used Pablo Sandoval's head model as a base. For Daniel Norris, I used Randy Wells head model as a base. For Chris Colabello, I used Juan Francisco's head model as a base. For Aaron Sanchez, I used Ian Kennedy's head model as a base. For Devon Travis, I used Gordon Beckham's head model as a base. For Steve Delabar, I used Tony LaRussa's head model as a base. For all my cyberfaces I use a generic cyberface as a base to create all of my textures. When I am finished, I paste those textures onto the cyberface of a real player that has a head model that I feel looks most like the particular player I am creating. Then I will use Blender to make a few tiny adjustments here or there- usually the lips, ears, occasionally the cheeks. If anything I did looks "questionable" to you, you could always PM to ask if I used any of your work to tweak it, etc. The only cyberface in this particular pack that I did not create entirely is the Jose Reyes one- I forget who created the original one, but all of the textures are mine.

Here is a cyberface pack for the 2015 Toronto Blue Jays. I give credit to Devlin for using a few of his head models as the base for Norris, Colabello, Sanchez, and Delabar.
  22. Hunter Pence, Josh Reddick, Bo Jackson, Rob Deer
  23. Hmm. Well if converting mvp cyberface textures for mlb2k is actually possible, then the blurriness in the face texture could be touched up in photoshop perhaps. I see that each mvp cyberface has 3 textures, although I am not familiar with the file type.
  24. Too bad these great cyberfaces cannot somehow be converted for mlb2k. Can the face textures be resized appropriately, and converted to dds files for mlb2k?
  25. New version of my portrait pack uploaded in the downloads section. This includes portraits of players on their new teams as of today.
