  1. I've made a heavy edit to version 1 of BSU-FAN's new roster file. There are no duplicate portrait ID numbers, and I have edited several generic players on each Class-A team into real-life players and created portraits for them. However, BSU-FAN made me aware that there may be errors that could potentially cause the game to crash in franchise mode if you use this roster. There is a huge difference in editing rosters using Reditor w/guru license, and editing using Ty's roster editor like I do. This is what can cause issues that I wasn't aware of. 2. The individual posted a link for his portraits in the announcement/forum for BSU-FAN's attest roster update. He is one of the culprits because I've seen that he posted everything that was released here on his own page.
  3. Arent there other sources for good player portraits besides pressbox? I find them in all sorts of weird places like zimbio, gettys images.

  8. as a matter of fact I cant import any color lists without getting the error message. I also ran into issues changing a players name, and then that changes many players names. lol. This is why this roster was not meant to be an "official release" and just a temporary option.
  9. BSU-FAN, I only created a handful of players that I added to your last roster file so I'm not going to worry about making a list as I'm sure you will include them on your own in your next release anyhow. Otherwise, they are included in my "unofficial roster release" that I update/post periodically. However, if you have a list handy of players that you are including in your roster with or without portrait ID numbers, I can use that and try to get a portrait pack done that you can release with your roster file.
  10. I forget which player it was that you had the same portrait ID number as the Yasmani Tomas I created in my roster file, but I switched Tomas to 0353. I believe the portrait you had for Steve Souza had the same portrait ID number as Matt Skole in my roster file, so I switched Skole's to 0298. Other than that everything matches up just dandy. My portrait files are based off of BSU-FAN's roster from last season with a few players that I created.
  11. A total conversion mod would be nice. At least I posted cyberfaces for the NL, minus a few that I will create once BSU-FAN posts his next roster. If I feel ambitious enough, I will work just as hard on cyberfaces for the AL teams as well. As of today I created a portrait for almost every major league player that switched teams during the offseason and spring training. I will create some new portraits for minor league players sometime during the season after BSU-FAN has posted his latest roster update. DaSteelerz, you have done great work on the stadiums thus far. Maybe you can convince others like dennisjames, picklebrad, etc to help you out so you don't have the whole burden on your shoulders. Raidersball20, great job on the team portraits as usual thus far. Opening up my roster file I did notice that a couple had the same portrait ID numbers as Yasmani Tomas and Matt Skole, so I changed both if you want to use for reference.
  12. As far as the roster goes, it isn't an official release. Its merely BSU-FAN's last roster from last season with every transaction included as of today. I posted it so everyone can see every player portrait I created and its portrait ID number.

  14. I sometimes get this problem after I download an update for Java. Since I am running a 64bit version of windows7, both a 32bit and 64bit version of Java is needed. This is what can cause an issue with the modtool. To eliminate this problem, I don't even enable the 64bit version of Java and its updates. Then the modtool works just peachy.

  17. thanks for this. I realized for me anyway, that it was pretty silly and annoying to place a separate zip file for each player contained in a rar or 7z file for each cyberface pack
