its a 2K glitch. The same thing will sometimes happen when you bring any player up from the minors NO matter what roster file you use, includin a 2K roster file.

i havent seen one unfortunately. it has nothing to do with the roster file. Its a 2K glitch thats been around for at least a couple of years now.

I agree about Washington making a dumb move my shutting Strasburg down for the remainder of this season and post season. Seems they should have done what the Braves did with their own pitcher Kris Medlen. He had tommy john surgery as well, and the Braves kept him in the bullpen to start the season before he became a starter. I'll bet you $1,000 in Monopoly money that the Braves erase that 6.5 game deficit and win the division, and the Nationals lose the 1-game wild card playoff.

Actually 2K gave 3 or 4 players that ID#. I think theres a pitcher on Toronto that was called up recently that has that same ID number

No kidding. Considering how in depth his last roster update was, it is pretty darn simple to watch the transaction pages and keep the roster updated ourselves with Ty's editor. Thats what Im doing. And occasionally use a CAP to add a minor league player to a team.

The Giants made a couple decent pickups. somebody for the bullpen would have been nice as they have been stretched rather thin lately. If Hunter Pence produces, I can see the Giants avoiding arbitration with him next year and giving him a 3 or 4 year deal as well as Melky. Fortunately, Aaron Rowand's ridiculous contract will be off the books, as well as Aubrey Huff's. Who knows, if Barry Zito maintains decent consistency, and if the Yankees are desparate for more pitching, they can work out a trade next month. LOL :crazy:
