Thank you. Anything is better than seeing the same generic faces, especially identical faces on the same darn team.
-
I will slowly be going team by team in the NL and trying to replace any player that has a generic face with 2K cyberfaces or different generic faces that bear a decent resemblance to that particular player. Its a tedious process to say the least.... :help:

Players should be allowed to communicate with the fans. Its great PR for the particular franchise. On the other hand, if a player like Morrison can't get his head into the game because he's busy tweeting 24/7, then he should be demoted. I cringed every time Uggla got a hit to continue the streak. But all it did for him was finally get his BA above the Mendoza line. I can talk for days about how much the Giants suck right now. They would be in last place in either league without their pitching. And I do think it is Bam Bam Meulens fault. Its impossible to believe that 12-13 hitters on the team would hit so poorly at the same time for most of the season without it being the hitting coaches fault. Whatever he is teaching/advising the hitters has totally screwed up their heads. The only other explanation is that the players are deliberately ignoring what Bam Bam is preaching. I totally want to go see the Planet of the Apes movie. Tim Burton's version was terrible, and although I like the original movies, it was time for a new vision. And showing the origin of how the apes came into being is the right way to go. That's sad that a young woman fell over the falls like that. Where were her friends and fellow students at to keep her from being so irresponsible? It is quiet as a morgue in here. I'm growing weary of hanging out with the dead all night. They don't talk back to me.... The 49ers-Raiders game was a perfect example of why I don't support either football team for years now. You gotta wonder what would happen if the Raiders totally changed the style and the colors of their uniforms? I swear to God that the only reason why they have such a huge fan base is because of how their uniforms look. The same can be said for White Sox fans. I love Joe Pesci and his foul mouthed antics in movies. Even his Snickers commercial is funny... -
For your 1st attempts I'm impressed. I do think the skin colors need to be blended better so it doesnt look like makeup- a little too pinkish/orangeish. The facial hair looks good, but I think you will need to use Blender to make the facial hair more textured and realistic. The hair on the back of a few player's head/neck area also need to be a little more textured, and realistic. Again, you will probably need to use Blender for this as well. One more thing: Neil Walker is sporting The Rock's People's Eyebrow!!! These are all small things to fix, so dont think this is an attack on your modding skills. Overall, these all are quite good and much better than 2K's cyberfaces.

I'm using BSU's roster #19, and for some reason the game generates 3-4 players per team with bald generic faces. I also noticed that you cannot change that face to a different generic one. Instead, you need to replace that face with an actual player face. Anyways, this could be a thread to post suggestions for this as well?

Damn. Those are good items for me to rant about also, but I will try something different and positive instead. I'm really liking that Joe Dimaggio postage stamp. I hope the remaining 3 players are Pete Rose, Jose Canseco, and either Shoeless Joe Jackson or Derek Jeter. J/K. I think it will be Willie Mays, Roberto Clemente, and probably Hank Aaron or Mickey Mantle. -

Instead of disagreeing/arguing with Y4L, start your own blog or weekly rant here. This is a perfect example of why I wouldnt post my honest opinions about sports or anything. Why go through all the drama of people scrutinizing and arguing with me to the point where I have to defend my point of view about something? It's just a point of view. In philosophy classes, one of the biggest things you learn about is how to understand and consider, debate, and defend somebody else's opinions, beliefs, and values that conflict with your own. On a lighter note, That is a really cool photo gallery you had posted on this site, Y4L. :good: -

Welcome back, Y4L: Any athlete being paid as much as A-Rod will always have a target painted on his back by the media. He probably likes the attention though. Jeter and Posada are probably laughing their butts off- it takes negative attention away from their mediocrity. The Yankees are in the same boat with Burnett as the Giants are with Zito: They are both too afraid to admit they made a huge mistake by signing these pitchers that peaked before they got a fat contract. Both teams are stuck with paying the guaranteed money, but sometimes its better to cut ties with a player that hurts your team instead of helping it. I think Alex Rios stinks for two reasons: One, hes still in shock that Chicago claimed him off waivers, thus taking him away from a team where he wouldnt be as scrutinized as he is now. Two, once he decided not to call himself Alexis anymore, his career has gone downhill. After watching the Giants-Phillies series, I think you can put Beltran in the same list as Soriano and Rios. He let 3-4 balls drop in front of him too, without charging after them. Why was the ROY voting so close last season? I realize that Heyward played many more games than Posey did, but who helped his team win more? Why even bother calling a prospect a 5-tool player? Once he becomes a major leaguer, immediately he will give up on at least 2 of those tools. -

Thanks for the kind plug, Y4L! It was sad to here about Hideki Irabu's suicide. Good news is that the Yankees went ahead and gave Irabu's ghost a 3-year $28.5M dollar contract! I suppose it's a plus for them that none of the opposing hitters will see the pitches coming..... J/K :diablo:
