Good evening folks, been a while since I had time to start putting game on my laptop again, I am having issues with windows 7 and getting the game to even start. I did a fresh copy, it will sit and do nothing. I go and see if the disk is even showing up, it shows up but I cant get the game to start. Any suggestions? Yes I have it set for running under administrator.

Yeah its very sad to see the changes and less interest. Programming and changes/mods to a game can only go so far before it becomes repetitive. For me I love and appreciate all the work everyone has done here. Wondering if maybe getting folks together on creating and placing more complete Majors-A roster on some of the total conversions and total classics might appeal to more folks weather it be golden oldies like myself or mid generation folks who enjoy gaming but prefer the more simple gaming. I love history especially the 90's. I'd love to help what I can to keep it alive but I limited knowledge of programming and editing myself, I'm more of a research and history person.

Well back to square one, trevor story seems to have a issue again with both the opening day and preseason rosters someone did. Any temp fix or help out there?

I am having the same issue again and the last fix I tried failed, it open for a second then closes. You guys might try compatibility mode and run as administrator. Might fix your problem, but it has not on mine at the moment.

That did the trick, thank you again. Once I have editing programs up and going ill be doing extensive work on rosters. Although nothing will compare to the extensive work you daflyboys

I have MVP 14 and MVP 13, I have the most recent baseup rosters. I was admiring and going through all the players in certain teams and seeing the new or updated pics, I happened to click on Trevor Story who is on the Rockies AAA team, I clicked his name the screen goes black and game exits to desktop and I get a message saying that the game had a unknown error and had to close. Any suggestions or help? It first did it on MVP 13 after I installed the most current baseup rosters, and when I got MVP 14 I got the same result. I apologize to everyone, my original post got put in the wrong forum.

I'm using MVP 13 and doing a dynasty with the Rockies, I'm good amount of games into the season. When I go and play or try to sim my AA game when it finishes, it says loading to the next game, and simply freezes up. Any suggestions? I'm using the 2014 schedule, daflys latest roster, and overlay2014. I tried a fresh install still having the same problem.

Well.... to let all know who enjoy that pitch meter, all I had to do was copy the original datafile from my 2005 backup files and I have both fixes in one. As everyone says backup your files before attempting.

Oh defiantly, I always have a backup of everything, that's the nice thing about have a terabit external hard drive to run it all. Do you guys know if it has the same overlay as the MVP 94? I noticed in the far right hand corner that it shows how much health the pitcher has percentage wise instead of just a green line.

There was a mod that made the pitch meter look like the picture I have attached, but unfortunattly I think the mod may have been part of a site that is now currently gone. This was MVP Baseball 2004 meter, this something id like to see for MVP Baseball 2005, and compatible with the full conversion mods such as MVP 13, MVP 94 and MVP 97, there is also a overlay that MVP 94 has that shows the actual percentage of health your pitcher has rather than the green line meter which does nothing for me, the other great piece of MVP 94 that would nice to have in the mod would be the score overlay that sits in the middle on the top of the screen during games. Anyone need more info what Im asking feel free to message me.
