I REALLY want to do like a 1994-2000 (pick your year) mod. I tried 1998 last year and got through the indians to test it out and it worked fine. My only concern is a character limit for player names with ty's editor. It may limit how many players we can rename...possibly. Doing uniforms and such wouldn't be a problem. The toughest thing would be devising a formula to rate players. If we can draw something up that works then I would be 100% in to doing a historic roster.

You don't install anything with Ty's editor. Just move the .iff files in to the 2K directory and that's it.

yes, it's invisible because you didn't use your budget to purchase inside edge reports for other teams...

Yea, the 2K files are quite the mystery. They have football and basketball textures that have been in there since 2K11 (pena said 2K10 as well). Some textures even reference MLB 2K9 so it's very strange indeed. The 3D football model is definitely there too in the global along with the texture.

You could just upload them to 2k share if that's easier...

Technically you don't have to use the roster at all. The file includes a color.txt which you can simply import into any roster or franchise at any time using Ty's editor...
