The folder HAS to exist if your using windows 7. Just go to My Computer > C: Drive > Users
-
it's probably because you had your game running at the same time. Portraits are constantly in use by the game so it won't let you edit them or mess with the .iff file.

your saves are stored in a separate folder, so my listing was correct. You can't see it because it's probably hidden. Go into your "folder options" and turn on "show all hidden files and folders". If you get lost on how to do this just google it and you'll find plenty of tutorials.

Try these: 1) run as administrator 2) turn off virus protection/disable all shields 3) update java

If using a 360 controller you use the "D-Pad" and press "down" to bring up the pinch hitter/bullpen menu. Not sure if your logitech has one of those... Even so, I would recommend throwing down $20 on a used wired 360 controller anyway. Windows is designed to be compatible with it as are most games released on PC.

No way, man. Like i've said before I only use blender if it's a super simple task I'm doing or it's absolutely necessary. It's a true pain in the ****. Your best best is to find a similar headshape and modify the face texture from there...
-
Start with this to get to know the basics of file structure and tools: http://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopic.php?f=144&t=82787 It's NBA but the same concepts apply to MLB. For MLB cyberfaces are "player_head_xxxx" not "png_xxxx", the latter is only in NBA. Then, once you get the face texture exported it's all a matter of diddling around in photoshop...

See, I thought it was still this logo as their primary one, but I guess not? Looks good though!

Bud, I'm starting to think you should just start ONE thread titled "Strawberry's Support Questions" and keep updating it from there. Those are randomly generated faces. They can't be edited and are not a generic one. You can either leave it or overwrite it. You cannot replace it either. In other words once its gone from that player it's gone forever. You can't give coco crisp #65535 and expect the same cyberface, it will be a bald generic head in game.
-
You sure about that pena? Well, either way I guess we'll find out soon enough as straw will be back.... lol
-
the globals are incompatible since they are from a different version of the game.
-
There is no compiled list of cyberfaces. Your best bet is to load a roster using Ty's editor and look through (in-game) different faces until you find the one you want. Then search that persons name in Ty's editor and note the cyberface number. Then, apply the cyberface number to the player you want changed, save the roster, and reload in game.

Yes, but it doesn't play crysis on max settings!!

Yes? I mean I don't know what else needs to be said....

Use the mod tool and open the global.iff, find the ball, export the texture, open the 2K12 global.iff, find the ball, import the texture...done 1: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=5474 2: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=4819 3: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=4730 4: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=4719

AA and AAA parks are the same as the spring training ones. So it actually wouldn't matter if you got to switch stadiums or not...

Mega Portrait Pack 2K12 Released
DetroitStyle replied to raidersbball20's topic in Mod Announcements
I fixed it last night. I went back to my normal way of doing it and didn't have any issues. Not sure why it was happening before. Be sure your saving the file a DXT5 WITH Mipmaps. -
First of all, the show is one of the most advanced sports games I have ever played, despite it's limitations on console. In fact it be one of the most beautiful looking console games ever. But you're right, if the show were put out on PC it would like infinitley better mostly because the PC has more RAM for higher res textures and has more advanced AA/AF/FXAA. Secondly, why are talking about compatibility? Since when has a playstation 3 game worked on a playstation 2. Or since when has a xbox 360 game worked on an xbox? That is an absurd assumption that the newer system be compatible with the older one? huh? Either way, they used to release a port of the show on PS2, but it just wasn't selling because, big surprise, everyone bought it on PS3. Thirdly, the idea that the game is "too hard" is absurd as well. There's many different slider tweaks you can make and hundreds of different game options. Analog hitting too hard? Try classic one button with zone. Don't like using the zone? Try just pure classic one button. Same with pitching. The only thing crites got right is cost. $60 for a game is pricey and then the system to play it on is pricey as well. But that's actually one of sony's best sellers; A PS3 bundled with the Show. But when I think about console prices I remember the 1K I spent on my PC....but let's complain some more about console prices

Straw, you can choose umpire uniforms before each game by hitting "Y" on your 360 controller. It's in the same place where you can choose time of day, weather, etc... We've had a few threads on this already so I'm surprised you didn't know about it.
-
You might want to be a little more specific than that...
