There's 2 alphas don. One is the gray scale one that's with the texture and the second one is on the green bump map. Did you get them both?

no problem vlad, take it easy this semester!

Sorry Scotty, that's other people's works and they may not be too happy if re upload it. Plus I think doing so is against the TOS here...

UPDATE: What works: (1) create portrait on 256x256 resolution (2) save file as DXT5 WITHOUT mipmaps (3) import .dds into the portraits.iff using the modtool (4) export the portrait as a .dds out of the modtool (5) place in potraits archive and import using the modtool What doesn't work: When you import/export using the mod tool, whatever portrait you select to "import" over will be ghosted when you play the game ONLY in certain situations as shown above. I tried this on 5 different combinations and each time it was a "ghost" image of whatever image I imported/exported over. Only the portrait updated is affected. It seems to be a mod tool error OR an issue with the 2K12 portrait.iff file. Further testing needed....
-
Sure, I'll add it to my list!
-
If your having trouble locating the folder it's probably hidden. Make sure in your folder options to enable "show hidden files and folders".
-
Yes you can speed. You can't directly use an .iff file though. You have to export the old texture using the mod tool and import it into the 2k12 iff. I did this with my cyber faces from last year without a problem.
-
You need the editor. Only way to find out unless you wait for reditor to be updated...

Alvy, check the 2k11 forums here and look for the generic cyberface thread. I believe Scotty made all the suggestions on what faces are best. Considering nothing much as change since last year, that would be a good place to start.
