Wudl83, does your current roster have the anticipation at 25 and catcher's blocking the plate at 99 for all players, all teams, including minors? If so,could you upload it? I tried global edit with the MLB2K12 Editor 1.1 and it corrupted the file. Did you use Reditor's roster editor to use global edit with success? I have it, but I do not have the ability to global edit. I started to edit all players manually and that sucks, lol.

I appreciate the mods, but it's a shame that people don't post instructions for us less talented. What is worst that other people that do know, won't step in and help out. No wonder these communities die out. I help when I can with what little I know.

Open up the main folder for MLB2K12 and click on the MLB2K12 exe file.

It will keep popping up until you click on the mlb2k12 exe file in the home folder of the game.

Thank you for the explanation on your portrait maker. How do you get the portraits folder back or don't you? As for paint shop pro explanation, I use it along with the old way of making portraits and the NBA tool. The explanation that you gave on paint shop pro is all greek to me, didn't understand any of it, lol. Will try a BMP files to see what happens. Thanks.

When I install these using the portrait installer, the portrait folder in the main directory of MLB2K12 disappears. Is that to be expected? Also when I use the portrait maker, I don't have photoshop or gimp, I have corel painstshop pro that I used to make portraits. Then when I use your portrait maker, I get a message that there is no alpha layer. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't own an xbox or playstation, never will. I think 2K is making a big mistake.

Restart your game you are playing and finish it. You should be free to check the rosters.

Check to see that your roster has too many players active, if so reduce to the limit allowable. Check for all teams, you can use GM option and look at organization for all teams.

Well, I set it back and was able to play the game, but this is about as stupid a thing that you should have to do. I have never had another game act in this way. Hopefully, 2K sports will fix this, so when they quit supporting the game, we can play it without the servers. I might add, good luck to that.

Can't get into game this morning. Everything else is ok on the web> Is there a way to play game without accessing their servers? If not, what a rip-off.

The editor will open ros. files but will not open franchise files.

Thank you for your quick response and explanation. Does that also resset the stats, ratings, etc. for the players to zero and start the season anew?
