Guys, I had this problem the first time I played the season, I use franchise mode, control 1 team. I used the woraround fix changing the date and that fixed it. I since have started the same season again, and I'm on August 7th of the season schedule and have not had the problem as of this date. I'm using the roster that was posted online by 2k when i started the season. Don't know if that helps but I thought it was worth throwing out there. If I run into that problem will post.

Maybe, I'm misunderstanding you, but was there an exit option when you paused the game? If so, exit the game and a "save game option should show.

Next time try to save the game and exit the game completely. Then go back in, I think you will be able to finish the game.

What day are you playing in the game? Are you near the all star break? As far as I know you should be ok to continue. Others should be able to respond if I misunderstood how they fixed the problem.

I echo your comments 100%. I don't blame game makers for not continuing game series with all the petty complaining. I also have a high end pc and agree with all the modders additions, it's a great game. Thank you to all the modders!!!

Check your lineups and pitching rotations in game. I get booted out if a player is injured and not replaced, happens with the black injury circle beside a player in game.
