Excellent HD Mod. I got rid of the old FXAAMOD files before copying all of the files in this HD Mod into my 2k12 directory as instructed. I didn't have any problems with my settings. I don't have the latest and greatest processor or video card but it isn't too bad. I have had this sustem for 18 months or so but it runs any game I throw at it. There are older computers than mine that run much faster video and processing but like Kcitystar said you must have decent hardware to run it without glitches or very slow performance. AMD Phenom II X6 1055T slightly OC in the bios running at 3 Ghz ATI/AMD Radeon HD 7670/6670 (TURKS XT) 1 GDDR5 Ghz video card Kingston 8 GB DR 1600 ram

2K Sports finally updated the stats and standings in MLB2K12 today. Hopefully, they'll do it again at the end of the regular season. It only took them two months or so.

It is possible it is a false positive but I just posted what my Norton antivirus says and it was blocked by the program. You did a good job on the mod version before this one and it seems to be working fine for people at the moment. I will still be safe for now and see what other people say and not take a chance this time around.

Norton says this mod contains a virus called (Infostealer.Gamepass) in the usp10.dll Do you care to comment on this DoemoYusa? It may be nothing but I am not taking a chance on installing it and wanted to give a heads up to everybody. If it is safe, please explain the reasons why it is or isn't in English?

I'll just throw my two cents in for a great starter. I may replace Pedro Martinez with Whitey Ford. I also wouldn't include any active players, Arod and so forth. I am not a big Red Sox or Yankees fan so I am neutral in my opinions. Bill Dickey would also have my vote over Johnny Bench. I have been wishing someone would replace the All-time players in 2k12 with alternate choices but I have no clue about modding and don't even know if it is possible or not.

Yeah, thanks. I knew better but just had a brain cramp.

Just a quick update. My schedule finally updated to show today's date August 28th. The starting pitchers are incorrect and the standings are from July. I am think it is all EA Sports not updating as they should to support this season. It didn't crash today, either which is a good sign at least.

Mine crashes only when I choose the game of the day of my favorite season team for my profile. I have another thing that started back around late July or early August where the MLB Today daily games do not seem to update at all. I get "no scheduled games" for all teams. It seemingly downloads something but nothing updates. Also, the stats do no update as well. This happens on my modded and unmodded version. I am wondering if it is EA Sports or not. I don't want to reinstall but may have to do so. Anyone else have these issues?

Read kyleb's instructions and the rest of the comments section. You need a clean install of MVP 05 and the official patch #2 installed as well. If you wish to keep a clean version, create another folder and copy the complete contents to a new folder, then install the 2012 mod to that folder. It is easy like Windows Explorer to point to it as the root folder and install. When you start the game start the main exe from the new mod folder for 2012. The only thing I have seen that needs correction is Jason Heyward is right-handed in the new mod, just a minor thing to correct. Overall, excellent work guys! If you search other total conversion mods you can see how other people install those mods. The same should work for this one, too. I still like using my copy of the 2008 mod with updates and the latest rosters but that is a whole different scenario and setup, daflyboys rock!

The way I usually extract new total mods is to create a new folder, in my case it is "MVP Baseball 2012" without the quotations, of course. Go to your clean install of "MVP Baseball 2005" and open the folder. Now copy the complete contents to the 2012 folder you just created. Run Explodeme.exe and besides the click to folder extraction, hit the button and point to the new folder you made then extract the files. You can then create a shortcut from the new folder to start the game or run the exe file inside the folder like always. Hope this helps those who asked. If I left out anything or didn't explain it well enough just comment. Thanks for this wonderful tot conversion mod for 2012.

I'm not sure about this roster. Being a Braves fan, it is off. I know it is hard to keep up during a season with call-ups and injuries. Moylan is out. Simmons replaced Pastornicky a month ago. Beachy is out for the season and Jurjjens was recalled and has made two starts. I wish I could give you five stars but I am not sure what you've done to make the roster accurate. Hats off to you for hard work and trying to provide a good working roster, it just needs a little tweaking is all.
