So, you are playing with the Astros in AL and they show up correctly in the standings?

While I am a total simulation freak and like to play especially sports games as realistically as possible, I totally understand wudl83's resentment towards the "schedule issue". I could care less as well. Much bigger issue in terms of realism is to have current accurate rosters/portraits and the Astros in the AL. The schedule changes anyways after one season, I play MY PLAYER mode a lot and multiple seasons are a given there. I still have the Astros problem, they show up in the AL, but dead last in the standings and just a grey bar replacing the team name. Is anybody playing the game with current rosters and portraits that also features the Astros in the AL-West correctly displayed? Thanks!

Sounds awesome, indeed. I haven't gotten that far into my Franchise yet, but I was wondering if MLB 2K12 features the additional Wild Card spots? If not, would this be something that can be modded? To me, this is even more important than the Astros playing in the AL-West next season. When it comes to the playoffs, it would be great to have the correct amount of teams qualify...

Sorry, but I do feel there is too much complaining going on. I think it's safe to say that all of us here are not 100% happy with 2K's version of the game, but what the modding crew has accomplished goes way beyond what anyone could have hoped for. And who knows, maybe there will be a way to add the Astros to the AL through modding. I've played the PS3 version and I think it's actually nowhere close to the PC version for exactly those modding reasons. I've updated the latest roster to my liking, and I'm getting incredibly realistic results. I simmed all the way to August 1st and the standings are an almost perfect resemblance of reality! Portrait updates, stadium updates, uniforms, overlays etc. etc. all reflect the current 2012 season, what more can I ask for? None of that is even possible on console versions, you're literally stuck with what you bought at the store. I have a high-end PC, so I never have any glitch issues, stuttering or the like. It's an all around awesome gaming experience. Thank you modders, big thanks!!!

Huge challenge, indeed! Thanks for the suggestion! Actually, although I realize that Safeco Field and Comerica Park do not feature the grass mod yet, I do like both parks even without the grass mod enough, but ideally, I'd play with a Franchise were at least all my home games have realistic grass. I know I can't have it all at the moment, so I have to make a decision soon!

Looks like I finally got things sorted out with www.dynastymanager.com. Always liked that site best and unless anything unforeseen happens, I should now be ready for my Dynasty. I would sim up until the All-Star break and then take over from there. Have not decided AL or NL and am considering the following teams at the moment: American League 1. Mariners 2. Red Sox 3. Tigers National League 1. Nationals 2. Pirates 3. Reds

I didn't think the recent releases cover all 30 parks though, do they? I thought it was at the most 10 parks that are updated to their most recent real-life counterpart...guess I was wrong. Thanks for the info!!

There are absolutely some must haves! KCCitystar's 2012 Uniform Update, BSU-FAN's NoFakeNameRosters ver.5, DennisJames71's 2012 NL & 2012 AL Stadium updates and right after you install that you overwrite the stadiums with the latest 2012 stadium updates, many of them improved by KCC as well (just released within last couple weeks). RaidersBBall20 2012 Mega Portrait Pack is also recommended. Those are the main updates I got along some miscellanious stuff such as sky texture update, pena21's 2012 accessories pack, TV overlays update... HAVE FUN!!! With these mods installed you'll feel as if you were there :popcorn:

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the current www.dynastymanager.com website? I haven't used it in over 2 years, but thanks to KCCitystar and the rest of the amazing modding crew I want to start a new franchise and document it. However, everything changed and I have no idea how to even view my page once I post a story, scores, schedules, etc. I'm basically stuck in the Admin page. I'm playing with the Nationals but I don't even see that I chose them. All the selections such as National League - East, etc. etc. is not visible. Very confusing. Any help would be appreciated!!

Funny how personal likings of a player influence you here. For example, I don't like the Tigers, but to deny Verlander's amazing skills would be foolish. As far as Felix Hernandez goes, since 2009 the guy strikes out over 200 a season, pitches over 200 innings since 2008. That's years in my book, not a recent improvement!! His ERA playing for one of the worst offensive teams in recent years with virtually no run support is so low that, if he wouldn't have had the one season with an ERA of 4.52, his career ERA would be under 3.00!!! Verlander has a higher career ERA now and has a much better offense behind him. Hernandez already won the Cy-Young in 2010, and did so with less wins than anyone else. To say he's been impressive only recently is as ridiculous as the 89 rating he had...

Just cause he threw a perfect game?? Felix Hernandez has been pitching like this for years, I am not quite sure what are you talking about? I mean, a guy this dominant, do not be fooled that he plays for the rather weak Mariners. He's a Cy-Young　candidate EVERY year, so please, 89 is not enough. I know you agree about the rating, but this guy pretty much stands alone. Again, he's been doing this forever, has nothing to do with the perfect game (1st in Mariners history).

Could somebody using this mod post better pics than the ones above. I'd like to see a wide shot of the stadium grass, basically a wider viewing area. That would help getting a better idea about the finished result. Because if it just messes the rest of the mods up, there might not really be a point in installing it...

Big Thanks for the roster update, indeed a massive overhaul and I really appreciate it. However, I do feel that some of the player ratings are way off, at least 6 players, if not more, are rated higher than Pujols? SP Felix Hernandez of the Mariners who is the best pitcher in the Majors currently (if not always) had an 89 rating which is clearly way too low. This is not a big deal, easily adjusted ratings to a more realistic standard and now I can't wait to start a Franchise! Believe me, this is not a criticism, just an observation. Thanks again BSU-FAN, immense work went into this and in terms of who is playing where, who is on the disabled list or not, it's all correct and this is by far the best roster out there!!!

Anyone have an idea on how to make the grass look more realistic? The faded 2K sports grass color is just a thorn in my eyes. Everything looks so realistic, just not the grass.

Awesome pictures, however, the grass is not as green in my game as it is in the pics above. Much juicier is the grass in the above pictures, I still have a fainter green. All the adboards look great, just a bit bummed about the grass.

Still all day left, unless BSU-FAN lives in Europe . I'm sure it's only a matter of hours, even if it is another 24 hours :popcorn:
