The updated sliders are already included in the latest roster. The updates only consisted of 3 or 4 small changes.

Could someone sum up the problems that we have with the schedule? To be honest I don't get it right now. :D

After a long long time of editing only I was able to play two games. Yesterday I played the Giants (Bumgarner) vs. the Rockies (de la Rosa). I won the game 3-1. Heavy pitching, bad hitting on both sides. Today I played a game with the Rays (Hernandez) at the Rangers (Tepesch). I lost the game 6-11 on 9-17 hits (3 HR for me, 4 for the Rangers ROFL ). Completely different games. Besides that I updated the SS, 3B and LF FAs. That means that only the CF, RF and the pitchers are left.

Thanks and nice that you like them. I did change some contact sliders and the pitcher's composure sliders. Both only one tick. And some time ago I changed the baserunning slider and lowered it one tick I think. But I think I didn't include this in the previous packs. I see really different results with the sliders, too. I do not know why, but that had not happened before lol. Either I always had highscoring games or I always had lowscoring games. Now I get both like you hopefully do. Nice to read that your problem could be fixed. As I wrote I thought that something must have been overwriting your rosterfile. Great that you did find out what was causing the problems. ;)

Really nice story. Only to let you all know: I am currently working on the players in the FA pool. I have done the C and 1B by now and will now go on to the 2B. All retired players are put on the hidden 2k team.

Thanks for the comments. As far as I can tell the problem is not related to my roster. I have checked and my version has Lohse at the Brewers, Berkman at the Rangers (in fact I played a game against him yesterday). Maybe something did overwrite my roster? Maybe you should try to download my roster again and install it anew. I remember some time back I had a problem when the game overwrote my roster with the official 2k roster.

If someone who has the Guru version and wants to implement the HOU change to the AL and/or the schedule please report to me. We could work together and release something like another BETA. I could put HOU in the AL by myself with my version of Reditor but it won't make much difference since it would be without the schedule. As I said, as far as the schedule does not work flawless I do not see any reason to buy this 20$ version of Reditor. I provide this all for free so please forgive me. :give_rose:

He is a 72 OVR right now and on BOS' roster. If he continues to perform over the next few weeks I will rate him up. But there have been lots of guys who played a bunch of games well and then never showed up again.

I have released a BETA of my roster with all the players who are on a 40-man roster a few moments ago. I think I gonna go over to the FAs first and edit those first. It seems that there are still some issues with the schedule that can't be handled right now. I also do not have the GURU license of Reditor at the moment. I would buy it, but only when I could be 100% sure that there are no flaws with the new schedule. But since there seem to remain problems I will not put out that much money for something that creates errors or crashes.
-
Does it happen in one special game or in all games? Are you playing a franchise or play now games?
-
With a bad roster you normally would not be able to get into the game. Bad roster means a crash occurs while loading the game.
-
As far as I have read the issues do not appear in the first season (besides the empty slot in the NL central and Houston not showing up in the AL West). And to be honest I have not looked into the schedule issue too much by now. All the other roster work is time consuming enough. But I will give it a look when I find the time.

I feel very positive about releasing the version with all 40-man rosters tomorrow. Only two teams left are the Rays and Rockies. :clapping:

At first I started random, then switched over to a ranking of the most popular teams, and right now I am doing what's left in alphabetical order. The Jays are done but I don't think they are already in the latest uploaded version? I do not know by heart what's in the last version.

Haha, same thing for me. Check scores before going to bed. Check scores in the morning... Most kids in Germany grow into soccer like MercyLord described it for baseball and so on in the US. Some years ago when Boris Becker and Michael Stich were quite succesful, Tennis was quite popular, too. In the last years Basketball has also gotten popular (Nowitzki). Formula 1 always has been popular, too. Besides soccer the popularity of a sport is very dependent on certain German sport stars being succesful or not. But back to topic. At least I was able to finish the Padres today. Pirates, Rays, Rockies are left. I gonna try to finish them as quickly as possible.

Soccer: I had been very interested in soccer for a really long time. I played soccer myself from age 4-18. Numerous injuries (especially knees) caused me to stop. Since then my interest was constantly shrinking. I can not tell you exactly why, but while I was watching every soccer game I could get into my TV a few years ago (independent of how meaningless the game itself was), I have not seen one complete soccer game in 2013. I simply don't care anymore. _________ Baseball: Back in 2003 or 2004 I found Triple Play (the one with Giambi on the cover) for a special price of 5 Euros in a computer store. Because of boredom I bought it. I never ever had something to do with baseball before. I did not know the rules, I did not know the difference between infield and outfield, I did not understand what was going on in this game but I simply liked to hit. And although I did not understand anything I liked the game. I played it a few months before I got quite busy and then never restarted playing it. In 2005 a good friend of mine was visitting the US (especially the Bay Area, but hitting other places, too). He bought a Giants baseball cap for me as a gift since he was visitting a game of them. After that we started to watch baseball games (especially Giants games, man did they suck back then). We started to learn the rules by simply watching games and we got heavily addicted. Funny thing: in our hometown (about 16.000 residents) a baseball team was founded at that time and we joined it. We really sucked hard. Sadly the team only existed about 8-10 months, after that numerous players left.

Woah guys I feel so sorry... My internet provider had a big problem in the telephone switch (I do not know if this is the right word for it in English) and I was without internet from Easter Sunday until now. In fact I did not even see the MLB games on sunday and yesterday. I wanna apologize for the delay but I am back at work now and currently working on the Padres.

Thanks! Sad to say this but I won't be able to complete the 40-man rosters until the first pitch of opening day It simply takes too much time. I gonna finish those 40-man rosters as fast as possible and I think I can drop them at least by Monday...
-
I will never forget Verlander's face after Panda's 2nd homerun rofl... Finished the Marlins about 45 mins ago. I will try to complete the 5 teams that are left as fast as possible within the next 2 days.
-
And Verlander for a even a bit more. ^^
-
:D I will get in the Marlins within a few hours. I think I will have done the last 5 teams' 40-man rosters by monday. After that I think I take a dayy off. Or two.

Like I said in the comments below the download I will go on like this: 1) finish all the 40-man rosters and some top-prospects for all teams, but not editing the contracts and service time, otherwise I won't be able to complete the 40-man rosters until opening day; 6 teams are left right now (Marlins, Nats, Padres, Pirates, Rays Rockies); the last 5 or 6 teams I have been editing already haven't gotten any coontract or service time edits; 2) when I got those 40-man rosters I will edit the contracts and service time for the teams that are missing 3) after that I will go on with free agents (ratings, service time, add some FAs) 4) then I gonna try to edit full minor league systems 5) maybe then I will go to the managers I do not know right now in which version I will include the schedule and Houston in the AL. But I will do it, I only don't know when. I also plan to edit some managers, but to be honest the work on the roster is killing me right now. I am working 3-4 hours on the rosters every day and it starts to get annoying. After the opening day rosters I think I gonna take a little break but I will release new versions with 3), 4) and 5) - I promise.
