What is your motivation behind this roster project? When it is giving the community a good roster then stop acting like a kid and give me the props. Simple as that. I said I do not want to forbid anything but taking the work of others (and if it is only a piece!) and not saying that you have done it kills communities like this one! We had last year and the year before some Chinese or Taiwan guys who did the same! Why not stating simply that it is not 100% your work (I did that too in my roster --> I used DS' color chart and gave him credit) - so where is the work? And only because I never said to you that you are not allowed to use it you think you can use it without asking? In which kind of world are you living? Ever heard of manners and fairness? But the whole thing you act like is to get props out of this project and nothing else. If you lack self-esteem and then go and get it in the real world out there and not in the internet. Don't act like a kid! I looked into your roster and nearly all the players of the Angels and Astros (strange - exactly THOSE are the teams you mentioned that have gotten rating edits - HAHA) have the ratings that my old calculator puts out! I have put in tons of time into this calculator and talked with the community in my thread about it. I was doing tests after tests and put in a high number of double-digit hours to create this editor. That is NOT how a community should work! If you want to create suspicion and claim that I could have done the same with your work then feel free and prove it! I got the prove - you don't! And you won't because you can't prove anything that didn't happen! One simple email or PM could have solved that. But no...you take the calculator and because I didn't forbid something it is automatically allowed without any note or question? When you get the car of your father it is allowed for you to cause an accident as far as he has not forbidden you to cause on? If you simply had put in yor readme or statement that those ratings that were already edited aren't made up by you but made up by my calculator there would have been no problem. If you had asked again if you could use my calculator I may have allowed you. Why shouldn't I? But now you act like a little kid. I do not care if you made the majority of your roster work by yourself and even do not want to deny that. But it seems like that you have no clue what an amount of work and time creating a calculator like this demands!

I see that you have put in a ton of work but I did expect that and now it came true. The interesting thing about your rosters is: you use (at least partially) my former rating chart that I sent you some weeks ago while talking about a possible cooperation for rosters and now you use it for your project and do not mention anywhere where those ratings come from rofl... My work - in your project. Nice one. Did you think that this would would stay hidden? Why do you not state somewhere that those ratings aren't invented by you! Of course since you now have my calculator I won't be able to stop you using it and that is not my intention. But I simply don't like it when someone uses my work and then declares it as his own or does not mention it somewhere. Little proof? At least I have an updated version of the calculator which works around flaws. Seems you didn't notice them although I put up a 10-15 pages MS Word-Document with instructions in it... Some jerseys were made over the last few days and weeks by Kccitystar, you can download them already in the Jersey section. I also included the associated colorlists for those jerseys in my roster, so the only thing you will have to do is download the jerseys. Regarding cyberfaces I have no clue who is working on them right now besides Twnlove. Last year we had more guys doing faces (including me and DS), but afaik DS does not do any faces anymore and I only have time to work on one project unfortunately. For the schedules I am following the related thread frequently.

I do not think it is caused by the date problem. The date problem did not cause a crash to desktop, it caused a freeze at the startup screen. I think the roster you want to use is corrupt or has a failure and so it crashes. I experienced the problem you got multiple times when trying to load roster that was corrupt.

@tsizzle: Thanx! I decided (to provide quicker results) to follow your wishes and only edited the players who are on the 40 man roster and the top prospects and finished the Red Sox. ________________________ Any wishes on which team to edit next?

I think you only can edit the names for the five staff members but not add any new to those. ________________________ I finished the Yankees teams a few minutes ago. I also have switched the Buffalo Bisons and Las Vegas 51. Should go online within the next few minutes. I decided to bring in a new star system or talent system howsoever you wanna call it. All players that have edited names, birth dates, positions and so on including ratings have at least a potential rating of 79. All players that have gotten those edits except the ratings have a maximum potential rating of 72. I did that because those players who haven't got a look into their ratings (those ratings are often totally randomly made by 2k) should not screw up your franchise by progressing too fast. But I want to progress the edited players and the real top prospects faster since I gave them reasonable ratings. I hope you can agree to this method. I did implement this for the Angels, Mariners, Rangers, Yankees and Giants by now. ________________________ Any wishes regarding which team to pick up next? The first one wins again. :p

As far as I understood him he does it for 2k12. He only said 2k13 because he wants to update to 2k12 to 2k13 :D

Yap. It is nearly impossible for more than one person to work on the roster at the same time. I tried a little bit copy and paste via Reditor (what would obviously be the only method for this scenario) and I got numerous crashes (I don't know why, but it did). I even got crashes sometimes when copying too many lines at one time in the same roster file...Thank you 2k. Combining work for the Show is a piece of cake however...

I finished the Giants organization today and worked on some Yankee prospects. When I have finished the rest of the Yankees' minor leaguers (I have already put in correct names and birth dates for those players, only correcting positions and faces are left) I could release the next BETA tomorrow.

Really cool. We already talked via PM but I wanna state here that the motivation for me for keeping on editing will be even higher when you know that there are others that help to give the community everything that is possible!

Exactly my thoughts. I don't want to sound boastful or arrogant but IMO schedules and other things are not as important as correct rosters including good ratings since a schedule does not affect the gameplay. When you have a roster with the right schedule but with ratings that are messed up the roster is useless IMO. But that is only my way of thinking. :db:

Yes, stamina. IMO stamina/pitch count is something that 2k has done a decent job if at all. Would have been much room to improve it.

Indeed. Of course I knew that they are having some injury problems right now but this lineup looks so weak besides Jeter and Cano, unbelievable. With Tex, Arod and Grandy at the AAA they only have 71 batting rating. But Gary Sanchez got 5 stars for compensation. :D

What a bummer! I started to work on Yankees 30 minutes ago anyway since I didn't want to wait... :D
