  1. Know what you mean. I do keep backups, so it is no biggy right now. But it could be a problem longterm! I have one possible solution in mind but that would require further testing. I gonna do this.
  2. Yeah of course it would be no big problem for me either to have AA or A players or to have them not. But I have the fear that sooner or later Reditor will screw it all up nevertheless. But it definately seems to have something to do with the editing of the generic players. With my first BETA 0.1 file I do not have this problem. But when I do open roster version 0.1.1 I got empty slots...
  3. I think it was hardcoded that the game can not have more than a certain amount of players (or created players)? I never heard of anything that there was something like preventing to edit more than a certain amount of players. BSU-Fan's roster has a ton of edited players (there even weren't any fake names ingame anymore) and the file works (but I think Vlad's editor wasn't released so he only used Ty's editor and edited ingame). The strange thing is the following: I have given the generic players the real names ingame. Then I saved the file and went to Ty's editor to edit their positions, bat/throw arm, and so on. Until then I had realized no problem at all. After that I opened Reditor and THEN those wholes occured. So I truely think it is something correlated to Reditor and not to anything else. This sucks so badly.
  4. I remember that it happened first (when I was editing some rosters some weeks/months ago) after I had edited a certain amount of players. Now that I have edited many custom players for the Angels affiliate teams this happens again. It seems that always when I edit too many of those generic players I cause this problem... If I do not find a workaround for this I either won't be able to edit enough minor leaguers or I won't be able to edit service time, contracts and skin tones. Both options don't satisfy me to be honest. I was so deep into this and now this damn thing occurs again. I could puke.
  5. This is the problem. I open Reditor and have a ton of player names empty. This happened some time before and now it is happening again. This is big time sh... since now I am not able to edit the skin tones because every time I open the Reditor this happens. And I also got no idea why espacially those players are affected and not others? This only happens with Reditor. With Ty's editor I do not get this problem. But when I try to address the problem with Ty's editor I get the bug where a bunch of players gets the same name automatically.
  6. Rofl...that never happened to me. Totally strange. Especially since Aaron Cook is on the Phillies minor league system...I gonna play a game with the Red Sox right now and test it out. EDIT; Played two quick innings and they didn't call him Cook...
  7. I got the bug which leads to automatic change of many names again. It seems that it somehow has to do with Reditor. But I do not exactly know what causes the problem.
  8. Yap I think that should explain it. Nice to read. I hope I get enough freetime the next few weeks to get this roster finished! Ok that would be a solution. Thank you, gonna do this in this way.
  9. Hm, but one question. E.g. I got CJ Cron, Travis Witherspoon and Kaleb Cowart on the Angels as they are 3 of their top prospects. Has anybody a suggestion for me on how to arrange their contract numbers? How much money and how many years?
  10. Brian McCann is on the Gwinnett Braves, right? The players on this team weren't edited yet! I stated in the Readme and in this thread that only the players that are on the MLB teams have gotten rating edits. Since then it is called a BETA version. I think in a future version Brian McCann will have satisfying ratings. And big thank you for your kind words! It feels good to get such responses. Nonetheless I am already working again. By now I am working on the players of the Halos that are on their 40 man roster but haven't been edited by me yet. I also edited the service time of all LAA players and edited the rookie eligibilty. I gonna edit the contracts for all Halos players now. I think I gonna give every team an AAA affiliate with real players (consisting mainly those which are on the 40 man roster), change the service time and rookie eligibility and then edit the contracts. After that I probably gonna do that for the AA and A as far as I got time.
  11. I know of this roster related crash. Strange.
  12. Yes you are right. It was another typo. I will wait 2-3 more days and see if somebody finds more typos. Then I will upload a corrected version. Hello and thank you. I will talk to you when I find the time to put in those players. And now you don't know which mode causes the crash? Damn.
  13. No problem. Found the first typo. Tulo should have 90 PowL and not 80...
  14. Only because it can be opened with Reditor doesn't mean that it is only a matter of time until we can import it since in the roster file a big load of other files is correlating.

Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.4 (18th May 2013) NEW: HUGE UPDATE! Changed all fake names in the minor leagues to real names. So this roster does not contain any fake players on the MLB franchises anymore. Sadly many of them still lack rating and face edits, but at least their names, birth dates, positions, bat side and throw arms are correct. You can identify them when looking at their stars. Players that have more than two star potential have full edits, those with 2 stars only have real names, birth dates, positions, bat side and throw arms. Kept transactions and lineups up to date. I tested a new rating system and already implemented it for the whole Giants organisation and the Dodgers 25-man roster. This work will be continued for all teams and every player. NOTE Please download the following facepack addon with the new players: - Shelby Miller - Edward Mujica - Sergio Santos - Hyun-Jin Ryu Download it here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7890 In case you have already installed pack no. 1 you only need the smaller pack no. 2. You only have to unpack those files and extract them into your MLB 2k12 main directory. The numbers are already correct in the roster. I also recommend to download the newest jersey's and stadiums that were dropped by community members over the past few days. The respective color lists were already imported into my roster. Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.3.2 (12th May 2013) NEW: I updated a ton of cyberface numbers. Every player that is on an MLB roster should now have a "real" face and not a generic one. Changed a bunch of ratings of the players that are currently on the AL Central 25-man rosters to reflect the current performances (e.g. Anibal Sanchez or Alex Gordon up, Vance Worley or Adam Dunn down). Changed Claiborne's and Grossman's name. Had misspelled them before. NOTE I uploaded a pack with cyberfaces for my roster which should solve the "bald head syndrom" when you have installed them along with my roster. You can find the pack here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7890 I strongly recommend the awesome jersey's made by Kccitystar. I have already included his color files into my roster so you won't have to install them. Simply download the jersey files and use my roster and you are set. You can find his jersey's here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showuser=17 I also recommend to install the stadium mods made by dennisjames71. You can find them here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showuser=81619 And last but not least you could take a look into my generic cyberface pack: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7397&st=10#commentsStart Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.3.1 (9th May 2013) NEW: All transactions, lineup and rotation changes that were done since 3rd May 2013 were added. Lineups and rotations are accurate as of 9th May 2013 using MLBdepthcharts.com as ressource. The injured players can be found at the minor league rosters. The Angels now have a complete minor league roster with accurate rating for all batters and pitchers. Changed a bunch of ratings of the players that are currently on the AL East 25-man rosters to reflect the current performances (e.g. rated David Price or R.A. Dickey down, rated Clay Buchholz or Manny Machado up). Changed some generic cyberfaces. Edited more FA pitchers. As far as I can tell every FA pitcher with an overall rating above 67 should be edited (ratings, pitches, tendencies...). Updated the current staffs for all MLB teams. Minor leagues and mangers without a job will follow. NOTE I included two versions of my sliders. The old one is the one which was in the versions before and it was put in from all star. The new one was put in from legend and should play different/more difficult. Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.2.4 (3rd May 2013) NEW: All transactions, lineup and rotation changes that were done since 25th April 2013 were added. Added missing players. Lineups and rotations are accurate as of 3rd May 2013 using MLBdepthcharts.com as ressource. The injured players can be found at the minor league rosters. The Dodgers (like the Yankees and Giants) got a complete minor league system consisting only of real players with accurate ratings. Changed a bunch of ratings of players that are currently on the AL West 25-man rosters to reflect the current performances (e.g. rated Yu Darvish or Michael Morse up, rated Mike Trout or Josh Reddick down). Changed some generic cyberfaces. Giants and Yankees have now rating edited minor leaguers. Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.2.3 (25th April 2013) NEW: All transactions, lineup and rotation changes that were done since 18th April 2013 were added. Added missing players. Lineups and rotations are accurate as of 25th April 2013 using MLBdepthcharts.com as ressource. The injured players can be found at the minor league rosters. Edited some more FA pitchers. Most FA pitchers still have not been edited but I will go on doing them. Also edited some ratings of current major leaguers. Changed some cyberfaces. Giants and Yankees have now rating edited minor leaguers. Changed some batting stances of the Cubs, Mets. Rays (thx to DonkeyJote). If you have problems with the new schedule please look into my thread or the related 2013 schedule thread. Those glitches can't be erased so we have to deal with them as long as we want to have the new schedule. Added missing players like Michael Roth or Thad Weber. Lineups and rotations are accurate as of 18th April 2013 using MLBdepthcharts.com as ressource. The injured players can be found at the minor league rosters. Edited lots of free agents (ratings, positions, tendencies). Most pitchers are still lacking edits but I will go on doing them over the next few days. Also edited some ratings of current major leaguers. Changed some cyberfaces. And since I got so many messages and requests for it: New schedule and Houston's switch to the AL West implemented. Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.1.9 (6th April 2013) This is the version that contains all the players that are currently (04/06/2013) on the 40-man rosters of all teams! The 25-man rosters should all be accurate. I have edited all lineups and pitching rotations (used mlbdepthcharts.com and mlb.com) and tried to do the latest transactions. Injured players can be found in the minor leagues. I have also created some top prospects for every team. All those players have gotten rating/pitching/fielding/position/tendencies edits. Many of the players already have gotten contract and service time edits, but unfortunately not all! This will come with the later versions. Some teams already have complete minor league system with real players. Those players lack all necessary edits. Fake minor leaguers on the other teams can be identified via the potential stars: every fake minor leaguer who is on an MLB franchise or affiliate has only 2 stars potential! I have not edited the FAs or managers yet. This roster file also does not yet include the new schedule. I have not gotten into this topic right now, sorry. But I will try to edit everything that is lacking in this version and provide you with future versions. As a little gimmick I edited all players with "short" pants and gave them "baggies" since nearly no one plays with short pants nowadays. I have also exchanged the Buffalo Bisons and the Las Vegas 51s and assigned them to their new Major League affiliates (Blue Jays and Mets). I have given many players new face numbers from the generic cyber faces thread. Also many players have the cyberface numbers that fit the downloadable cyberfaces you can find at mvpmods.com. I recommend downloading nearly all available cyberfaces and jersey packs you can find @mvpmods.com! And please download my package of the generic cyberfaces, too. It can alle be found in the mvpmods.com download section. 18. Not closing Beyondo should work, you are right. I close it because I edit some things like lineups ingame for my roster file and to avoid potential crashes or errors I set the date back to normal. ;)
  19. Hm strange. I always have to use beyondo. I set the date to 1st October 2012 and everything works fine. When I get to the main menu in 2k12 I switch back to desktop and close beyondo and everything still works fine ingame.
  20. You are talking the pc version? Even beyondo doesn't work for you?
  21. It's no big deal to finish the last two 25ers. I only have to edit the ratings of those two teams. After that I will edit the rest of the players that are on the 40 man rosters. When I am finished with that I gonna release the 2nd BETA. A little preadvice: 1) Please do not look too deep into the minor leagues. I only made the transactions for those teams and haven't edited anything else. Also you gonna find some injured major leaguers there that aren't edited. Other injured major leaguers like Grandy who were edited before they went down may be still on the MLB roster since I decided to leave alone the teams that have been edited to avoid editing some players more than one time. 2) When you realize some strange ratings or ratings that are off on the 25 man rosters please feel free to report it. 90% of the ratings were calculated and I only was switching between fangraphs.com, my excel file and the roster editor. So it may be that there are some typos (like 85 speed for a FB although it should be 95). Editing over 700 players without a typo is nearly impossible. :)
  22. Maybe I can upload a BETA version even tomorrow. Gonna have some time and only two 25 man rosters left (Pirates, Rockies). Played a really awesome but also disappointing game a few minutes ago. Was playing the Reds vs. the Phillies. SPs were Chapman and Lee. Phillies managed to score 2 runs on 8 hits of Chapman in 6 innings of work. After that I brought in LeCure in the 7th. First pitch was a homerun by Rollins (I didn't hit the button long enough...lol). In the ninth the Phillies scored their 4th run off Ondrusek. Well...all game long Cliff Lee killed me. He "only" had 5 Ks going into the 9th, but I wasn't able to create baserunners. I only had two singles of him until this point in the game and he was on the road to a complete game shutout. When the 9th inning started I didn't believe in a comeback. Choo was up. He drew the first walk for me in the whole game to get on base with 1 out (Mesoraco had lined out as a PH). Brandon Phillips singled and the Phillies contributed a throwing error. So Choo came home and it was 1-4 with Phillips on first base and 1 out. After that Joey Votto hit another single and I had 2 men on base. Next was Ryan Ludwick. After "a long epic battle" (like the commentators always call it) I struck out on 8 pitches. So I finally thought that now it was game over. But then came Jay Bruce. On a 2-3 count he bombed a 3 run homerun of Cliff Lee with 2 outs and I had tied the game in the 9th. The Phillies brought in Papelbon to at least secure the tie and he struck out my next batter. This really was an epic inning for me. I never had seen something like that before. But in the end I took the loss... In the 11th inning I had Parra pitching. He got the first 2 men out and then I walked Erik Kratz. Next up would have been Papelbon but the Phills brought in Yuniesky Betancourt as a PH. I wasn't worried about that since he is not the best...But damn he got a double and brought home Kratz. I wasn't able to pull even again although I had a man on 3rd with 1 out. Nevertheless a very fun game. IMO this game is waaaay better than its reputation. It has two major flaws (cutoff man not throwing and terrible bullpen management by the CPU) but overall I have so much fun with it.
  23. Some insight: I played the Phillies @ WSH. Stats seem to be ok, a little bit too much Ks for me and a little bit too many strikes for WSH. But I have bad plate discipline and foul very often. Homeruns by Harper (WSH) and Howard (PHI). SPs: Kendrick (6.0 IP, 7H, 5ER, 9K, 1HR); Haren (6.0 IP, 7H, 3ER, 4K, 3HR) And I suffered badly from Delmon Young in RF. If I had a better fielder at this position Bryce Harper wouldn't have doubled in 3 runs... In the 7th WSH brought in Storen, in the 8th Clippard and in the 9th Soriano. This bullpen is nasty. When those 3 guys come in one after another it is game over.
  24. I finished the Mets, Nationals and Padres 25 man rosters today. I also updated all the transactions for every team. This means that the "only" things I have left is editing ratings, contracts, etc. As promised I will give you a BETA version of the 25 man rosters when I am finished with it. Assuming that I will be able to edit one 25 man roster per day that means that with 4 teams left the BETA should be available at friday or saturday.
  25. I got used to it. Start Beyondo, set date, start MLB, when loaded swith to Desktop, close Beyondo, play the game. Takes about 4-5 seconds extra time.
