I tried the following system dates: - 7th of July --> works - 8th of July --> works - 9th of July --> crashes - 10th of July --> works everything else seems to work, too.

I do not understand what you want to say? We even can not get into the game. We get crashes while the game is still loading. What do you meant with "system"? Changing the date in Windows? Some XBOX-guy has the same problem... https://www.2ksports...ad.php?t=320715 Can't believe it but it works @netbeast. I set my PC/windows date to 14th of July, the game is working again.

My brother has installed the game on a different work station, he has Windows Vista. Same problem. He has a different hardware configuration and also different software. Must be 2k related.

How do you start the game in Demo mode? Or do you mean you simply wait at the startup screen until this random AI game starts? I think it has something to do with 2k. The guys have different graphic cards, different Windows settings, different game mods installed etc. But apart from those differences a bunch of us has those problems. The only thing that we have in common seems to be that we all own MLB 2k12. Seems also that it is only PC related. I am really clueless. I tried with and without mouse, I tried it in Win 7 and XP mode, I tried it with internet connection offline and online, I tried with XBOX-Controller plugged in and plugged off. I reinstalled graphic drivers, I have the newest version of Direct-X. Seems like this is a hidden gamecode problem related to the current date. Otherwise not so many guys would have this problem out of nowhere.

I looked into the Update history of Win 7 and it states that the last updates are from the 12th of June. I also do not have auto install for Win updates activated. I bet it is somehow a 2k problem. There are some guys over at 2k who have those problems, too. Exactly the same problems... https://www.2ksports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318952&page=10 It seems that it is not hardware related.

Same problem for me. Didn't change anything. In fact I played a few games before I shut down the game. Few hours later without any change I wanted to play another game, startet MLB 2k12 and boom - desktop.

A question: are all guys that have this problem from Europe? EDIT: Lol the guy above has in his profile he was from Chicago. Obviously my idea was wrong. :D

I got Win 7 and mine started to crash, too. I get to the network blabla screen and then wooops I land on the desktop. First a restart of Win helped but now that does not help anymore. I did not install any new files recently. Seems no one has a clue. Over at 2k forums some guys state the same problem. EDIT 1: Maybe it's an Nvidia problem? I got a Nvidia graphic card. There was no Win 7 update since about 4 weeks ago. So Win shouldn't be a problem. EDIT 2: I downloaded the newest Nvidia drivers. First deleted the old ones, then installed the new ones. Still crashes. Can not get past the "testing network configuration bla" screen anymore. EDIT 3: I deleted the lighting mod I had installed and tried again. Still crashing. EDIT 4: Since the crash always comes after the network test I disconnected my PC from the internet. I started the game and after the message "2k service blablabla not available" or something like that (in other words: at the same position like before, only different message because of disconnect from the internet) it crashed. I am completely clueless. I don't know what happened or what causes this crash. I did not install anything new before the crashes appeared. At first I could solve the problem via a restart of Win 7. But now this doesn't help anymore either.

His 2k number (and so is raider's) is 3385. Both for portrait and cyberface (he has a really good one when you use this number). Simmons has the number 3193. But you can all find it out by yourself. Simply download the 2k roster and look for it. :p

Wait vor raidersbball's next pack, I bet he will have updated it.

Create him or download a roster (e.g. BSU-Fan's) where he is included. I do not understand the intention behind such posts?

Sorry guys that I didn't do any faces recently. I am working on a roster project which takes a ton of time. But nevertheless I promise to make good for the faces you requested. Please be patient. A little hint: if you would like to look into this thread: http://www.mvpmods.c...showtopic=52994. There are some faces already ingame which fit for certain players very well.

File Name: Wudl's roster and slider set File Submitter: wudl83 File Submitted: 12 May 2012 File Updated: 25 May 2012 File Category: Rosters WUDL'S ROSTER AND SLIDER SET ============================ This set is meant for more gameplay realism. You should not look too much at the OVR of the players. I included my slider set also for those who want to test it. I recommend to use my or Mkharh's sliders. They can both be found at operationsports.com: http://www.operation...mlb-2k-sliders/ 05/15/2012 - Beta V 0.3 *********************** - updated the current 25 man rosters of the AL central - same edits as V 0.1 and 0.2 for the current AL central 25 man rosters - updated AL West and AL East 25 man rosters, lineups and rotations - changed all position abilities of the players of the current AL 25 man rosters for the AL 05/15/2012 - Beta V 0.2 *********************** - I edited the current 25 man rosters of the AL East - same edits as V 0.1 - updated the 25 man rosters of AL West teams as far as moves were made - 25 man rosters, lineups and pitchting rotations of AL West and AL East updated (base: www.mlbdepthcharts.com) 05/12/2012 - Beta V 0.1 *********************** - I only finished the 25 man rosters of the AL West teams by now. I did not touch any other teams - I edited nearly every rating (batting, pitching, fielding) and tendencies as well as position abilities and pitch types of all players on the 25 man rosters of those teams - The game should play way more realistic now (as far as I can tell at least) since I looked deep into split stats which 2k hadn't done obviously - the contact ratings should overall be a little lower which lowers the amount of pop ups and flyballs - in my test games I had pretty accurate scores and stats. I had low scoring games and high scoring games, a fine amount of walks and k's, enough extra-base hits, and so on - the ingame ratings are all based on a system. I made a excel sheet for it to assign accurate ratings which are depending on the real life stats of the players HOW TO INSTALL ************** - Take the two files that are included in the folder and copy them into your MLB 2k12 saves folder (They both are named "bambooland") - Start the game and load the two files - Maybe some guys show up with a generic bald head as far as you haven't downloaded the cyberfaces of DetroitStyle and me over at mvpmods.com. I would recommend downloading them. It only takes a few minutes FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS FOR GAMEPLAY ********************************* - Use CLASSIC HITTNG and TOTAL CONTROL PITCHING, I have not tested analog hitting since I hate it - Use both USER FIELDING and USER RUNNING - work the pitch count CREDITS ******* - especially to BSU-Fan who allowed me to use his first roster version as a base (BIG THANK YOU) - Detroit-Style for his color chart I included - to all the rosters guys out there If you have further questions or suggestions please visit my thread over at operationsports.com: http://www.operation...c-roster-7.html Click here to download this file
