Here is a Dbacks cyberface megapack, which contains modified faces for all players on the 25 man roster that only had a generic face. Simply extract the .iff-files into your MLB 2k12 main folder. After that open Ty's editor and assign the following players their new face numbers: - AJ Pollock 0622 - Bryan Shaw 3497 - Craig Breslow 6593 - Geoff Blum 0114 - Gerrardo Parra 0524 (also change his skin color to 9) - Henry Blanco 0112 (also change his skin color to 9) - Joe Paterson 3413 - Josh collmenter 3428 - Miguel Montero 3196 (also change his skin color to 1) - Paul Goldschmidt 3542 - Ryan Roberts 6861 - Wade Miley 3564 - Willie Bloomquist 1587 If you do not want to include all players into your game, you can download all files separately since all faces are available as single files, too. I hope you like it and have some fun with it, your Wudl83 -

Since I wasn't able to run a new poll in the old thread I decided to run a new thread with a new poll. Please give your votes for the team that you would like me to update the missing cyberfaces of the 25-man-roster. I will start with the team that gets the most votes and then make the one with the second most votes and so on.

Okay I see the problem. Thank you for reporting

I thought of first doing those players that actually only have a generic face and THEN do those that already have one but a bad one. Seems the poll is in favour of going team by team, so I will do this. I finished the Dbacks today and will post a complete Dback-pack where all players are in tomorrow. I will start a new poll where you can pick your favourite team that I will work on.

Have you tried to play around with the user pitch speed slider?

You are right. FIP is a far better option to rate a pitcher's performance than this lousy ERA. And then look here: http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=5705&position=P Lincecum: ERA 10.54, FIP (http://www.fangraphs.com/library/index.php/pitching/fip/) 3.36. Vance Worley: ERA 3.75, FIP 5.75. (http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=pit&lg=all&qual=y&type=8&season=2012&month=0&season1=2012&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&players=0&sort=16,d) Or look at last year: http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=pit&lg=all&qual=y&type=8&season=2011&month=0&season1=2011&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&players=0&sort=16,d Joe Saunders: 3.69 ERA, 4.78 FIP. Zach Greinke: 3.83 ERA, 2.98 FIP. And so on and so on. The problem is that runs count as earned runs although the pitcher was rather not responsible for them. Look at the example I posted with Lincecum. Melky and Pagan make a mistake (which is not counted as an error) and after that some runs came (which count ER for Timmy although the other two made the initial faults).

Hi guys. Perhaps you realized I recently started to make cyberfaces for players that lacked one. They all can be found in the mvpmods.com download section. Since some of you told me that they like them and since so many faces out there are missing I will start this thread where you can make requests. BUT: This requests simply won't work like "please make this" or "please make that". I first want to find out how you would want me to do them, regarding the order: 1) doing cyberfaces for the top players that have none 2) doing cyberfaces team by team 3) giving you some choices and run a pull 3-4 days and the faces with the most votes get one For this I set up a poll, so please vote. Thanks. Update 04/20/2012 New Poll! Since the maximum possible votes are set to 20 I will give you 7 choices to choose from last years play off teams. The Dbacks are done by now (only Pollock is missing, I will add him within the next few days).

1) Lincecum is off to a bad start. 2) The ERs against the Phillies were not only caused by bad pitching, but mainly by poor fielding. If Melky and Pagan wouldn't have made this mistake in the first there would have been two out with no one on base. But they weren't able to field the ball and Lincecum started to struggle again. 3) Lincecum has had STRONG innings one after another through all his appearances. But there was always ONE inning in which he struggled. 4) I predict that he will come back and stop those struggling innings. 5) Lincecum is one of the best SPs in the league. These were only 3 games of about 30 a SP pitches. Look at other pitchers, they were also struggling. Others do overperform. 6) Do not base ratings on the performances at the start of the season. For reasons look at point no. 5. 7) But Lincecum is never a 99, Jeter is not a 90, and so on. To be honest I appreciate your work Nastynachos, but I don't see the sense behind it?

I use the following method. Let's say I want to copy a beard from the channels into the alpha. 1) I choose the layer with the beard. 2) I use the magic wand and click on a free spot of this layer (not directly on the beard). 3) Since by now the free spot is selected I inverse the selection so the beard is selected. 4) Now I click CTRL-C and do nothing else at this layer, I leave the selected area where it is. 5) Now I go to the channels. Here you should still see the same selected area like in the layers (beard). 6) I click CTRL-V and insert the beard. Perhaps your selection was wrong? If it does not work I really only can think of the mentioned rescription.

BSU-Fan, if you need anykind of help I would gladly help. I wrote you a private message, looking forward to your response.

Because they look horrible and to be honest it is no big amount of work to download the faces. Practically installing the faces takes only 5 mouse clicks or 20 seconds per cyberface... To speak for myself I plan to finish my Dback-cyberfacepack today or tomorrow, then you will get over 10 new faces in one package and do not have to download them one by one.

No problem, you are welcome.

Uh, this one could really work. Nice find, I scrolled through 20-25 teams but didn't think of Molina. I will give it a try and hope it works. But it seems that the eyes could really match. Thank you very much.

When you change something in the editor and save it (it doesn't matter if it's a face number, shirt number, peake age, ratings, etc.) you screw up the skin tone and make it much lighter, especially for darker players. Look at Maybin ingame and compare it to DS' Weeks. NORMALLY both should have the same skintone, but since DS had changed Weeks he had to assign him a lighter color in the cyberface, because the editor screws it up. If you would do this with all dark players, there would simply be no really dark player anymore in the game. That's the problem.

Hi, to finish my Dbacks-cyberface pack I would like to make a Henry Blanco cyberface. But I can't find a base headshape that would be ok. Has anybody suggestions?
