Hey guys. Sorry again. Wasn't able to do anything with the roster because of a number of stupid happenings. First I broke my collarbone and got surgery 2 weeks later so I wasn't able to work with more than 1 hand for nearly 4 weeks. As a result of that I had a ton of work to catch up on. I am back at work again.
-
Ah yeah I have them already in a separate folder on my hard disk.
-
Maybe I will do some faces when the roster is finished. But since I don't know when I will have finished it, I can't predict anything else. Regarding Bonderman I can tell you that he already has a face ingame (as far as the numbers are correctly assigned).
-
As I said, don't know, sorry. I never have done portraits. I really have no clue how to do them.

You can use Reditor for it. Simply sort the roster file by "Position" and everyone who got a position number of "1" is a catcher. All those guys get a blocking the plate rating of 99. If you want to do this quickly than simply copy about 20-25 lines of 99 and then paste it over the original numbers. Besides that, every player should get a fielding anticipation rating of 25. You can do it also via copy and paste. Should be a work of about 5-10 minutes at the most.

Two organizations (Giants, Dodgers) are now completely updated. All ratings are accurate to the real life stats, all pitchers throw the right pitches (including accurate ratings and speeds) down from the A affiliate to the MLB ballclub. Nonetheless I had to play a little game, I hadn't done that in a long long time. Giants took the win at Dodgers stadium behind a phenomenal performance by Tim Lincecum. (To be honest I don't know how I did that. I have never hit 3 homeruns in 1 inning before, nor are Lincecum's ratings so good or the Dodgers' ratings so bad lol. Since I hadn't played in a while I expected that I wouldn't get hits at all.)

Maybe when I am finished with my roster.

File Name: Quick Daniel Nava File Submitter: wudl83 File Submitted: 21 Aug 2013 File Category: Faces After clicking through the Red Sox I noticed Daniel Nava having a grey and washed out looking cyberface. I corrected his skintone a little bit so that he looks like a human being again. Simply extract the file to your MLB 2k12 main folder and overwrite the old file. Click here to download this file

I tried it numerous times for myself before asking someone else to combine work. I tried to import, export, copy and paste data from one roster file into another and rather sooner than later the roster would be corrupted and the game didn't load it. The roster files have a very unfriendly structure for a combined effort of more than one guy. If it would be possible or at least easier to work together it would be not such a big problem. The only way a combined effort would work would be that the guys who are involved would work at the roster on one time each. Meaning, that when person A works on the roster, person B doesn't. E.g. person A works on the roster on Monday, then he sends it back to person B. Person B works on the roster Tuesday and he sends it back to person A. Then person A works on the roster on Wednesday and so on. But would that help much? Don't think so.

Sorry I don't do CS anymore.

Oh I know that feel. I am way behind where I would like to be. This thing is so damn time consuming. If we only had the chance to work with a few people on the same file at one time... It especially gets worse when you want to go to fangraphs.com and the site is down like at this moment.

I don't know, I didn't do the portraits. If the portrait maker is still around, maybe. But I can't tell anything about it, sorry.
-
Hey guys, was on a one-week business trip until today. I even didn't have the chance to get the MLB results from last week lol. But: I gonna have a bunch of free time over the next few weeks so I will start pumping it.
-
Yeah, respect is the keyword. And you are clearly lacking in this regard.
-
Maybe it's because nearly all face modders are done? Me and others released a ton of faces, I am working on rosters now and others quit. Simple as that.

I am sorry that I am very busy right now and my roster isn't released already. But yeah, with tweaked ratings you will get more consistent games. You can get crushed by the Astros the one time or you can hold the Red Sox down next to nothing the next time. Ratings are the key. After THAT the sliders come into play. When you have ratings that are more evened out all over the league and not varying too much, you will have better or more realistic results. This is my opinion. In my roster, which I am still working on, you will see a ton of guys with the "same" ratings. That will even out the game pretty much and give you a bigger role in affecting the outcome by how you are playing. And that's how real baseball is IMO. Looking into the league there is a bunch of players who more or less is equally good or bad. There are only a few real elite players. You should realize against who you are playing but nonetheless have a chance of shutting them down.
-
You don't have to tell me what transactions occured. I know them already. I keep track of them all. But thx nonetheless. ^^ Sorry still can't say anything about a release date and feel really sorry about it. I try to work on the roster here and there but I am so busy right now in real life that it is really starting to burn me out somehow. You may have noticed that I don't post here as frequent as I did before. The only thing I can say is that I promise you that I will release it and that I won't give up on it.

Yeah having more than 25 man on the roster may have caused the problem. That's a very odd AND old bug. Don't know why it never has been fixed.
-
In a franchise game? Then it will have to do with a 2k bug that can't be erased. Every time a roster has more than 25 man (e.g. when someone is on the DL or it's 40-man roster time) a random player will be picked up and the bald head gets assigned to him. Don't know why.
-
At least no oneelse ever complained. If I knew how to fix it I would tell you. But I don't know a solution. Maybe install my roster and the generic cyberface pack from anew. No clue.
-
Yeah as I said I think it's caused by the new schedule. Don't know about a workaround, sorry.
-
I think I can't since this will be caused by the new schedule IMO.

I played a game with the Mariners against the Rangers. Iwakuma vs. Wolf. I won 10-8 on 13-14 hits. Wolf had to go after the third (already had given up 8 runs including two homeruns). Iwakuma had to be pulled after the fifth. Had given up 5 runs (3 earned) and had already over 100 pitches. At least he had 6 K. Kendrys Morales had 3 rbi for me, including 1 soloshot. Mike Zunino had 2 rbi for me on a two-run homer. Raul Ibanez had even 4 rbi for me, 2 coming fro soloshots and 2 coming from a 2-run double. Who was player of the game? Hisashi Iwakuma. I was like "WTF?"...
