  1. I'm going to have to be switching to a Windows 10 computer... I did a search on Secdrv.sys windows 10 to see if there has been anything recent that may solve the problem with MVP2005 running on Windows 10... I came across this site... Fix CD Games that won't play in Windows 10 ... this was a March 2018 article... https://windowsreport.com/cd-games-windows-10/ which has a section that is similar to previous efforts to use the Secdrv.sys From Win 7 or 8 but seems to go into more detailed steps... I wonder if anyone has tried this and if it would really work ?!?! Solution 5 – Add SafeDisc driver manually We have to mention this solution can cause system instability and potential security issues, so use it at your own risk. To add SafeDisc driver manually follow these steps: Download Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider tool from here. Download SECDRV.SYS file or copy it from any older version of Windows. In older versions of Windows this file can be located in C:\windows\system32\drivers folder. Move SECDRV.SYS file to C:\windows\system32\drivers folder on your Windows 10 computer. Right click Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider and choose Run as administrator. Choose Enable Test Mode and click Next. Select Sign a System File, navigate to C:\windows\system32\drivers and select SECDRV.SYS file. Click OK and restart your computer. When your computer restarts, start Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider again and turn on Test Mode. After you’ve done that, you should be able to run old games once again on Windows 10. Problems with CD games that won’t play on Windows 10 are caused by the lack of support for SecuROM and SafeDisc, but you can easily fix these problems by using some of our solutions. We also did a guide on how to play old games on Windows 10, so feel free to check it out if you need more information. Editor’s Note: This post was originally published in April 2016 and has been since completely revamped and updated for freshness, accuracy, and comprehensiveness.

  3. Heres what I do when I 'play' MVP baseball... I have taken my favorite teams from the 50's and 60's and updated the stats of the players to represent their best years during a timeframe... and then just watch all these 'super teams' play each other... I don't 'play' in 'arcade' mode... I just watch the games... I do break in when the computer does something silly like... 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th.. 1 run behind... runners on 2nd and 3rd... and then the computer lets the pitcher bat and then replaces him in the top of th e9th anyway... well. I break in and send up a pinch hitter when I see that happen... but wow, for the most part, the game actually makes some pretty good in game decisions and lineup moves.. anyway.. what that means is that I am always watching the game from the pitching view center field camera. Doesn't make any difference what you have the view set to in the game if you are in cpu vs cpu mode... its always from the center field camera. Ideally, I wish I could choose which team to display in batter view and which team in pitcher's view... but that might be a bit complicated since it would require the addition of an 'input screen' for that selection. however, it would be great if something 'simple' like just always showing the home team in batter view when they are at bat would work well enough to break up the viewing experience a bit and make it more interesting to watch. With all the things that people have figured out about the game, is this something that someone could figure out how to do as well??!
  4. I use the KSM V2 overlay and really like it. One thing I wish were different about every overlay I've used is for a full 9-inning scoreboard to be displayed during play. Just like the scoreboard that appears at the end of the game. Wouldn't have to be fancy, wouldn't even have to show the numbers for the innings as long as there were only numbers showing for innings that have been played or are being played. Easy enough to figure out that its the bottom of the 4th, even without inning numbers. it could go right at the top center of the screen. ...outs and pitch count wherever looks good... A scoreboard showing the entire game tells the 'story' of the game... and adds to the 'you are there' sense of mind... Is this something that would be possible for someone to come up with?!? There are a lot of brilliant people here who know a lot about the inner workings of the game. ;-)
  5. I really LOVE your 1962 Total Classics season!!  I play it more than any other!!  It's great how you used the 1962 TOPPS baseball cards as the photos, that was my all-time favorite set of baseball cards!!

Have you ever thought of doing any 'updates' to this season?!?  For example adding players like Billy Martin and Hal Reniff, who were in the 1962 TOPPS set, to the free agent pool??!?  I'm sure there are others as well, those are just the 2 that come to mind.

and filling out a schedule for additional seasons in dynasty mode...  I'd love to be able to start all these players at 21 yrs old and have them play a full 'career'!!!  ;-)

  6. I have a copy of a list of all the TC-10 teams and locations... it may be the same one you mentioned or one I put together.. I don't remember... In either case, I'd be more than happy to share it. I also have a file I created that shows the final standings for every season from 1905 to 2005 with all the seasons that have Total Classic Seasons represented highlighted as well as all the teams that were in TC-10. Is that something that others would be interested in as well??
