This is not strange to me in any way, shape, or form. I posted here last year or maybe the year before how one of my virus checkers stripped my computer or my Reditor program which I bought and paid for, luckily after a little amount of time Vlad emailed me back and sent me a whole re-update patch and serial. And this wasn't the only game or program I have lost. The offender in my case wasn't Windows Defender, they were perfectly good versions of both AVG and Avast, that I installed one after the other first stripped a bunch or programs and dumped them into their version of Virus Hell. The problem is that when these .exe get restored from their vaults or whatever, they have been purged and cleaned so they no longer work. They can be really devastating to ones computer system. The sad truth here is that when "the Machine" does something like this to a person who has a legitimate complaint, there is very little they can do when they try to explain to someone that they were wronged and legal in the first place! I'm glad people here were helpful to the OP

The secret here is to edit your franchise pitchers to have 5 pitch types or minimum 4. I have done this for years now. As soon as I got BSU-FANs latest roster/franchise I did mine. There are a lot of stat tracking websites now on the internet to use, and just because a pitcher didn't throw a single curve ball last year in the majors doesn't mean he never threw one. Also be creative with out cheating too much, a four seam fastball, a two fingered and a cut fastball are all similar. Another trick is what I did with R A Dickey, he has two very different speeds for his knuckle-ball, so I gave him a 80 KB, and a 65-70 knuckle-ball curve. When you see some of the stat tracker websites it will give you a better idea. Besides no one says that the extra pitches you create will be anything to bet your next big league contract on. For Example; Lets say some guy threw a change-up one year at "Florida state academy for youth and military type people" a very well know and most prestigious institution of higher education... HA! OK lets say the sucker got tagged for a 3 run homer. But He did throw one, right ? So don't make it very good at all. Its just a 5th pitch to mix up during a game and you don't have to throw it all that often. You will find this will do wonders for those pitchers that turn red quickly and stay that way. Either that or you cant use them ! Simple right ? Hope this helps brainy

Thanks for clearing that up BSU-FAN that is exactly what I have. The teams I'm playing match up perfectly with the teams actually played this season but the days of the calendar are scewd. Now I know the answer to this ? or I'm afraid I do, but what happens when the crew here releases the big 2015 MLB All In One package, How do we continue our seasons with the new roster ?? Any thoughts ??

I don't know if that is correct gotribematt, I have BSU-FAN V6 he did this summer and it is clearly 2012 schedule.

Kccitystar; is it still possible to log onto the servers and play against somebody at all ? I have a bad password error so I cant tell if you can or cant anyway

The only way I know for sure, to increase Power, is adjust your difficulty slider, for "batting power" but this will only effect either your controlled team, or "ALL" Computer teams, so its a balancing act Sorry for the humor earlier, but I just could not resist Actually If you have "REDitor II" or even tywiggins editor, you should be able to find the batters individual stats and increase batting power for each player, but I have never done this Hope this helps

I just can't help it... I tried, I really really tried, but I'm too weak. The easy and best way to increase A-Rod's power, is too get him another major multiple game suspension..... !!

My Reditor that I purchased a licence for a year or so ago, at least 4.4, and upgraded since then to 4.8 was rendered useless 2 weeks ago. When I started to read the messages on here that the 4.8 version was dropping the registration keys I didnt worry, because I guess that I thought it couldnt happen to me. Then my virus checker stripped my Reditor of its exe when I went to use it to change something, and it wouldnt work any longer. So I had to download an older version and upgraded once more through to 4.7 I think, but can no longer find my Keys. I tried to go and email Vlad, but cant find a working link, so I used a order form and put my particulars and mailed it to him, but a week has past and I have heard nothing. I guess I presumed that if he recieved my name, email address and machine ID he would realize I owned a copy from him, but maybe not. Can anyone help me with ideas or information. Thanks

Yea, Me...... I just went to adjust some stats in my Franchise tonight and my desktop shortcut, just went "phewie" Its gone. I found the files, but no Executable... what the hell is up with this, I bought this over a year ago, I assume I got the keys around somewhere, but Im worried if malware or Avast my virus checker is eating it. I cant explain any other thing that could have gone wrong

Interesting to say the least, im glad I got the attention here on this topic, because It did cross my mind a time or two in the last few months. As a long time "Amiga" computer owner and game player, I have been down this road over the years. Incidently, I had a quick boo on the internet as well these last few minutes. Now please !! "I AM NOT" posting anything for purpose or otherwise, this is just for conversation stimulation. But there is a reputable website right this minute that has a free download of this heres truly, and there isnt any mention of payment, or keys, nothing.... and dig this, it became available two months ago ! p.s. All my stuff was bought way back from steam, so im not interested in downloading Brainy

Im not so sure if this is true or not, but I have been wondering about this for some time. Ever since 2K pulled all titles and remnants of 2K12 baseball from circulation, and no longer supports it or has anything at all to do with the franchise. Would this not make the game "abandonware" now ? I mean 175 dollars for a game that last year you could get for 20.... something just seems dodgey about that now. They wanted nothing to do with it again. I tried to get help with an issue and they gave me the old heave ho. So seriously, they say "you cant have your cake, and eat it too" so which way is it ? If it is "abdonware" then it should become a free download. If it isnt and they still expect revenue from it, then they had better support it should they not? What do you guys thing about that ?

Technically you don't "control" all teams. You set them up so that the team(s) you want to play, you have the hands on ability to make their day to day decisions. The CPU controlled Teams are all set to make their own changes both at Major and minor league levels. You then have no ability to use or change those Teams day to day operations. BUT !! If something comes up that you dont like, say a team traded 5 minor leaguers for Micky Mantle, you then could step in and stop that from happennig.

Well I know one thing for sure. "If" this issue can be fixed, or improved, it will certainly cave-in if you both share knowledge and work toward it, it doesn't stand a change against you both. Secondly I always wanted to bring up a theory or put to the question of rosters limits one that has puzzle me to no end. At certain times of the year, teams get to extend their rosters to 40 man from 25 man, so we know this can be done. Ok, a 25 man roster at the major league level is excellent, no problems. But a 25 man roster from Triple AAA down is not exceptable, and is not even close to realistic I do not believe they have those limits at lower levels even. So my question is, Do you think it possible to take a "snapshot" of the rosters of teams at 40 man times, and paste over the normal minor league levels and permanently expand their rosters to carry more then 25 men each. This alone would greatly help the limitations in the game when we have Injuries, or signing draft picks, using Free Agents signings, and especially in trades, because so many times there are 1 for 2 deals or worse and they cant be done through the game normally. Or do you think there is any possible way to increase the numbers of player slots in minor league teams. Not Major as I believe that would cause way more problems then its worth ??

I started a brand new franchise using KC's May 14 update, and to start spring training, I went to send down Moises Sierra for Jason Diaz and the game crashed to desktop with no warning. It was as if I clicked on the big red X. Thought I must have done something wrong, so loaded up again. Everything loaded up in my save, settings, sliders and everything else was fine until I try to make roster changes I have sucessfully used many rosters and Reditor with no problems since 2011, and have never had any major problems with the exception of the calendar bug freeze we all had a year ago. Not saying its the Roster "BUT" ??? What else could be wrong. Just played a franchise the other night with Greg's original release, and it was fine.
