  1. Hmmm...may need an alternative to PayPal. When I try and use it it locks up.
  2. Question...what if your gamepad doesn't have a #10 button? I am using a Logitech Rumblepad and it stops at button #8.
  3. It's just not that big a deal with me.
  4. X2 :good:
  5. I already have mine on the way. Count me among those who like having a CD from the manufacturer. :)
  6. The colors aren't a major complaint with me. LA is the only one I noticed. I can live with it. :)
  7. Thanks! Gonna send $10 right now :good:
  8. I know the last post was in November 2010, but I was wondering about the paying membership situation. The links I have seen showing where the paying membership thing is in my profile seem to be broken (I didn't look in the last 3 pages). I looked all through my profile but couldn't find anything about membership donations. Can anyone help? Are paying memberships still being accepted?
  9. The blue on the LA Dodgers uniform and hats seems a bit light. But I could be mistaken.
  10. Just a thought, but has anyone looked at this? Major League Baseball 2K12 requires virtual memory to run properly. If your virtual memory settings are not correct, you may experience stability problems. To configure virtual memory: On Windows XP - From the start menu, open Settings/Control Panel. - Double click the System icon. - Select the Advanced tab. - Click on the Performance/Settings button. - Select the Advanced tab. - Click on the Virtual memory/Change button. - Select the drive that Major League Baseball 2K12 is installed on. - Select the "System managed size" radio button in the "Paging file size for selected drive". - Click the Set button. - Click OK multiple times to return to the desktop. On Windows Vista - From the start menu, open Settings/Control Panel. - Select System and Maintenance. - Select System. - Select Advanced System Settings. - Click on the Performance/Settings button. - Select the Advanced tab - Click on the Virtual memory/Change button. - Check "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" - Click OK multiple times to return to the desktop.
  11. Cool! Never saw anything like that in EA Sport's MVP Baseball. :)
  12. Has anyone noticed the appearance of a Leprechaun and 4-leaf clovers in MLB 2K12? I played a couple of games today and it appears at the beginning of each inning framed around the score. Not sure this is SOP for this game, but it's a pretty nice touch. :good:
  13. Okay...one more question...are the people having game freezes using the downloaded version of the game or the boxed version? Trying to narrow the possibilities down. ;)
  14. Well good news. Amazon sent me an apology letter and shipped the game today. I wonder if demand is outpacing supply?
  15. Well it's 7:43 my time and Amazon still shows "Shipping soon" for my game. Bummer. Was supposed to ship today. I wonder if they actually do have them in stock? They say they do in their ad.
  16. Will: Does this lockup happen AT ALL when just playing an exhibition game?
  17. Ummmm...1980 makes them 32. I don't see that as being too old. Of course, I was born in 1949, so I may be prejudiced concerning age.
  18. Will do! I'm still getting used to the game vs MVP05. :)
  19. I don't think baserunner speed is an issue. Just looks weird sometimes to see the way they run. I'm use to it now.
  20. I bought my CD version from Amazon yesterday. I would have had next day shipping for free, but I have a PO Box and that disqualifies me. Price was $29.99 INCLUDING free shipping. Should ship today and arrive between March 19-21.
  21. My system is hardly high end: Pentium 4 3.8Ghz single core processor, 4 gig of RAM, nVidia 9600GT video card with 2 Gig onboard RAM, running on Windows XP Pro 32 bit system. I have experienced NO lockups. Only thing I notice out of the ordinary is the power supply fan runs a lot. This is no surprise as it's only a 400 watt power supply. Otherwise the game runs smooth as silk. I was quite surprised about that. I figured it would be a slideshow in some areas, but it isn't. Note, however, that I have not played in Franchise Mode yet. So there could be some software problem in that area.
  22. So far the catcher has been mediocre for his suggestions in my gameplay. Sometimes he repats the same suggestion 2-3 times for the same exact pitch in the same exact location. Not a good thing. Most times I choose my own pitch and location where I want the ball to go. And that is mainly in the dark or light blue boxes or the uncolored boxes.
  23. I tried 2K12 yesterday ay my friend's house and was immediately hooked. I ordered a copy from Amazon.com last night. I had tried earlier editions of the game and it didn't impress me. While I still have EA Sports MVP 2005 with the 2008 conversion on my comp, the graphics have definitely become dated on it. 2K12 has excellent graphics and they have progressively improved gameplay to the point where it's worth the $30 price tag. My only hope is that either modders or the company keeps the rosters updated.
  24. I noticed the head up thing but I don't think it's a big deal. Some folks actually run that way. Not everyone puts their head down. Watch sprinters at the Olympics some time. Many of them have their chest forward and head up or even tilted slightly back.
  25. Thank you for that pitching meter. Exactly what I needed.
