I'm a big sports videogames fan. It was bad enough when EA stopped making Madden for PC (points of view, really)... We don't have hockey... Now no more baseball... Hopefully basketball & soccer keep going for a while... I know many modding websites do unthinkable things to keep games alive, but like with the Astros situation in 2k12, not everything can be solved with modding. Do companies think that people who buy a gaming computer do it just to play war games? Probably the sales indicate so. Even just a port of the Xbox 360 version would be appreciated, but I don't expect 2k to do anything about it....

I couldn't agree more. I have bought a decent rig and don't plan on buying any consoles anytime soon. I believe that making 2k13 for PS3 is a waste of money. It's just gonna be destroyed by The Show.... Instead they could have kept the PC series going, where there really isn't that much of a choice, except for MVP thanks to you guys. Is producing a PC game really that much of a financial loss for 2k?

It does affect the offline gameplay as well. I am playing on a high-end laptop and I constantly had 70+ FPS. With the True HD or any of the graphics enhancing mods the FPS plummeted to 20/25 at best on the benchmark test. The game was almost unplayable, with my players swinging almost a quarter of a second after my actual "swing" with the analog controller. I don't think it affects hits trajectory though. Nothing against any of those mods, I loved how the game looked like and it was awful when I had to go back to normal graphics!! I just wish I had a more powerful computer... I hope I helped!

I tried to... I paused the game but in the menu there was no possibility to "save and exit" the game...

Hello everybody, this is my first post on the forums. Today I was using the "My Player" mode on the PC version of MLB 2k12 and something got me VERY frustrated. I'll explain better: I'm playing for the Cubs and it's the bottom of the 7th at Citizens Bank Park. The result is 7-7, I am a single shy of the cycle with a runner on third base and two outs. As my player walks to the batter's box, the CLUTCH MOMENT box appears (I've had clutch moments happening before but never gave me a problem until now). As I step into the box, the camera shows my player from the catcher's point of view. And then nothing. The camera just stays there and I have no chance of playing my at bat. Every player is waiting, like I still have to get inside the box and there is no way of making the game go ahead and skip that part. The game has stalled. I tried to wait like 10 minutes, but nothing changed. The only movement I could do was to put my player into a bunt position or charging the power swing. I had to do the CTRL+ALT+DEL and turn off the game. Of course that got me very frustrated... Has anybody else experienced this before? Is there any way I can skip those clutch moments and avoid the game to get stuck again? (I'd rather have a 3 hits game instead of having the game stall and starting the game all over again) Thank you for your attention :)
