  1. That's exactly where I wanted to get. Using BSU's V4 roster and his sliders, I get a lot of hits (like 14/15 for each team, almost every game), not to mention when I simulate CPU games in my franchise when you will always see a couple games every day in which a team gets over 20 hits. So what I did was tuning up the pitching's difficulty sliders, as well as turning the contact down for both user and CPU hitting, by about 5 points. Now I get less hits (realistic figures), but players strike out even on pitches that I leave down the middle, and I get really low pitch counts because the CPU players will chase a lot of pitches, missing. If I lower the contact even more, I'm afraid I'm gonna get an unplayable game...
  2. Nice results... looks definitely more realistic. I have a couple questions: First of all, are you using automatic or manual fielding? I have noticed that sometimes, on easily playable flyballs, the game will not give the outfielders a speed boost, but will actually slow them down while running towards the ball, making the controlled player dive through the air to make a spectacular diving catch: it's like the game had planned that move all along, since the ball was hit. I guess this fix will keep that from happening too often? (I use manual fielding) Also, this rating means the number of hits will noticebly increase, am I right?
  3. I have been told that the audio mods also work for MLB 2K11, but I do not own 2K13, nor do I own an Xbox 360, so I really can't tell... I think they would work since they are pretty much the same games except for new rosters, but then again I have no idea how the Xbox version of the game is structured, so I can't say anything for sure

    That's because you might have picked a user audio file longer than every other track contained in the .bin file. When you pick, let's say, a 30 seconds long "user audio file", the box on the right will automatically hide the other tracks that last less than 30 seconds, until you press the "clear" button. That's because, like I said in my first post, you cannot replace a certain track with an audio file that's longer than the original track

    I think DYosua may have given you the link to the first version of the tool. There was no "play/stop" function with that version of the program, which came with the very next version (always released by DYosua). Try downloading the one included in >this post
  7. It's not too old. Your main issue might be the GPU. I have the same amount of RAM memory as you, and I run the game at around 60/70 fps with every mod ever released installed, except for the HD mod. I also use NBA 2K14 and FIFA 14 with maxed out settings, and they run just fine. However, I am looking to upgrade the RAM from 4 to 8 Gbs, and if your computer allows you to expand it in any way, I strongly reccomend you do it too If you're not able to do that, my tip would be to add the mods one by one and see which ones hit the performances the most
  8. All of those mods you mentioned except for the new roster will slow down the game a bit. And wait until the new stadiums come out, with higher resolution textures... I do agree with Y4L, check if you can expand the ram on your pc. What's your setup anyway? I play on my laptop as well (not a gaming laptop by any means) and i only ran into huge fps drops when i added the HD graphics mods (running the game at full settings)

    Audio Editor?

    It's pretty straightforward. - Open the program and click on the "browse" button next to the "MLB 2K Audio File" line. -Choose the ".bin" file you want to work with, and double click on it. The program will open it automatically. Give it a few seconds and you will notice that the window right below will start filling up with lines with lots of numbers: those are the tracks contained in the file you opened. -Next step is to find the track that you want to replace. If you are not sure which file you want to replace, you can click on one and then press the "Play" button to obviously play said track. -When you have found the track you want to replace, save its ID number, so it will be easier to find it again. Then look at its lenght: the audio file that we want to replace a certain track with cannot be longer than the original track lenght. My suggestion would be to replace the original file with one that is about 1 second shorter (and most importantly stereo, or else it won't play in the game!) -After you have found the perfect audio for your needs, click on the "browse" button next to the "User Audio File" line, find said audio file and import it. -After the file is imported, select the file you want to replace with a click of the mouse, and then click on the "Replace Audio Segment" button. Job done The only long part of this job is to find out all the IDs, but once you have them all figured out, it all becomes really quick. Hope this helps! EDIT: If at the end, the program won't let you replace files, close the program and run it as administrator.

Ummmm, I didn't? lol If you want to take out some songs that you don't like, you can do it yourself by downloading the audio editor I just put in a few that I thought would create a nice stadium-like atmosphere, but you can easily change them all yourself if you want. Of course, this is coming from an Italian person, who can only imagine what a baseball stadium atmosphere is like, so I'm sure there might be some mishaps here and there PM me if you need to know the IDs. Oh and thanks for your kind words!

  15. I disagree on that. Your cyberfaces are greatly appreciated and the amount of work that you put in them is enough for you to earn the respect of the entire community. They change the whole game, in my opinion and you have made HUGE steps forward as well, so your work can only get better. I really hope you will keep up the awesome work you have been doing!
  16. Yeah, I wasn't able to tell which theme they were currently using, but the other night I was watching an Indians game and saw that the Fox theme wasn't the one I put in the V1 of this mod. After some research I was able to find the audio I needed and therefore I replaced the wrong one with it. My suggestion is for you to try it out (backup the two original files that this mod is going to replace) and see if you like it. Personally speaking, I like this V2 theme way more than V1

    For all the Blue Jays fans who have been requesting it, it's finally out. Presentation is better if matched with the SN modded scoreboard made by exrxixxx. If you have tried my other sound mods, you will already know what I aim to do with these files. They completely replace 2K's stock game introduction, lineup presentation and mid inning music with the Rogers SportsNet theme used in the Blue Jays' broadcasts. You may find the themes are not 100% accurate like in real life, and that's because the game only allows us to use files of a certain lenght, therefore I had to cut and mod a few of them, so they could fit the little slots the game gives us. - Worth noting: I have tried EVERYTHING in my power but I could not manage to find the lineup presentation music, so I had to make up for it with something else that sounded similar, but I'll eventually replace that with something else in the near future. I'm always available if you happen to have the original lineup presentation theme used by SN, so please PM me if you have it! I also completely replaced the music that plays from the stadiums' speakers with 50 different songs, so you will no longer hear that awful soundtrack that 2K12 came with, during the games and you will hear a wider variety of songs. I chose these songs according to what most players use as walk-up songs or what you'd usually hear in a ballpark or stadium. If you don't like some of the tunes, you're still more than welcome to replace the files yourselves with the Audio Editor and put in the music that you prefer! For better results during games, I suggest you use these volume values: Commentary 100 Crowd 95/100 PA Announcer 65/70 The file is divided in two parts because it was too big to be uploaded to the website.ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL FILES so you can go back to them, in case you don't like these ones! HOW TO INSTALL: Download both parts. Open part 1 and extract the files to the game's main folder, overwriting the pre-existing ones. Done.   18. I wanna give them a chance but I wouldn't expect one either. Truthfully speaking, I am not expecting another game at all! However, I do believe that if they are ever going to make another baseball videogame, they are just going to fill the hole left for Xbox baseball players, which R.B.I. 14 wasn't able to fill, for obvious reasons. So expect just PS4 and Xbox One versions (and PS3, Xbox 360 versions if they feel generous). They had given up the PC version with 2K13, I don't see why it should be any different now... (sadly)
  19. Thanks to the user DYosua, who has tweaked the already existing NBA Audio Editor (for the NBA 2K series), we now have an audio editor that works with MLB 2K12 audio files. To this point we are able to edit all sounds except for the commentators and the PA announcer.

That means a lot, seriously Originally, I only wanted to make a sound mod for the main broadcasts (ESPN, Fox) but being a Yankees fan myself, and since the fanbase is pretty huge, I just had to do it. It gives that extra something to the game... Man if we could only have a YES scoreboard to match this!

    After a whole lot of sound editing, the CSN version of the Sound mod is out, to match the modded scoreboard made by exrxixxx.   24. Thanks for the heads up! I did try that, but I found it easier to just write down the IDs of the files I needed to replace and go with that, leaving the order the way it was. If I sort the files via the "Lenght" column, it gets even messier, because the sounds I replace would get mixed with some of the organist sounds, which are almost equal lenght as these tunes. At least they had the decency of putting together the audios that blare from the stadium speakers and those that are played in game, and not mix them with the other stadium sounds. The problem is that their order makes no sense...
  25. Speak of the devil. Today the game played the stock music (just once in maybe 6 or 7 games of testing) during the lineup presentation. I went through the files and I found no audio that I could have missed. Weird. Still, as I said, that might happen just once in a loooong while. The way they have organized the audios inside their .bin files, it's impossible to find them all lol I have found audios that I have NEVER EVER heard in two years of playing this game! Also, yes, this version includes a wider variety of songs compared to the ESPN mod, but that's just because there's plenty of audios to work with Hope you guys are enjoying it, I surely am!
