actually, if you're talking about on the Auburn football sig...i got a 3x3 image (transparent fill) and filled in a cross pattern in white. Then i saved it in the GIMP patterns folder as a .pat. Finally, i dumped it onto the image and adjusted the layer mode and opacit.y

...went for something different after seeing some of the sigs on here...not my best...hope you guys think it's at least decent, C&C please:

Open up the PSD cutout, then select all, copy, and then paste it into your new image. Finally, click Layer> New Layer, and you have the psd as its own layer.

File> Save As> FileName.psd But use .xcf, i've had trouble saving to .psd in GIMP.

Ah, well they're verrrry nice. One of my friends, uses just the pen tool. He's really good at PS.

I like the simplicity. The whole sig flows very well. Excellent job! (Side note, how do you do your cutouts?)

Update...fixed my Ronaldo sig....you may have to refresh it if the nose still looks messed up. Photobucket seems to screw up when you delete a file and name something the exact same thing: C&C please, thanks!

Yeah...i just noticed the cutout around the nose was screwed up... Off to fix that

Yeah, agreeing with mvp here. Try some white brushing on a dark background. Also, the font...i'm guessing it's visitor, but with any font that's a bitmap font, you have to use it at a certain size (10pt for visitor) without Anti-Aliasing and without Hinting for it to look any good.
